This interpretation sounds too whiny to me, like a mournful dirge compared to the energising and uplifting original. It lacks any of the charm of the original, sounding like a typical bland modern-day radio-friendly pop song .
Not even close to the quality of Gabriel, and not the way it should be sung. I am sorry.
