  • Pastor R.A. Vernon might preach better than your and he said the new F word in the Word church is FORGIVE listen to it people

  • F u

  • ahha pastor FU ck u too

  • such disgusting vulgarity in church. esp. when f-u is known to mean f*** you . not relatable to the HOLY BIBLE & HOLY SPIRIT. the Spirit of Satan is in that man, and in his church. not The HOLY SPIRIT.

  • Is this legal?

  • Hello, my names Charlie.

  • Waaaay too little reverence for the pulpit, the office of under-shepherd, and growth of the sheep. Come L-rd Jesus.

  • I'm in church. F you. F yo momma, F yo family, F everybody in here. LMFAO.

  • This guy is the only cool Christian in the world, and has my respect, lol.

  • Do you people not understand a joke when you hear one?? I thought this was hilarious, and I never EVER cuss!

  • Having a relationship with God is not "religion", it's a relationship.

  • @supersavvy117

    Please read James 1:27

Pure and undefiled (((religion in the sight of our God and Father))) is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Looks like religion has alot to do with God...

  • @supersavvy117 Very true. A person's personal beliefs are their own right and a blessing. But when groups of like minded individuals get together, share and discuss those beliefs, and THEN start making decisions about others lives that impact people who may not share the same relationship, then THAT is religion.

    There IS a difference.

  • PIMPS, PROSTITUTES IN/ON THE PULPIT SELLING THE DRUG, CRACK RELIGION.

  • HE HAS TO READ FROM THE BOOK WHICH REVEALS HE DOES NOT HAVE ORIGINAL THINKING. RELIGION IS ANTI-NATURE, ANTI-DIVINE LIFE, ANTI-DIVINE TRUTH/REALITY, ALL WORKERS OF EVIL INIQUITIES, SATAN AGENTS, EVIL OPPRESSORS MIND SET. IT IS ALL A MAGGOT MIND-SET.

  • GOOGLE SEARCH: RELIGION IS A MENTAL ILLNESS, IT IS A SOCIOPATH, PSYCHOPATH, PATHOLOGICAL LYING AND DECEIVING, NARCISSTIC, PROFANE PARASITE (EGO) SADIST. MASOCHIST, MONSTERS, BEAST CHARLATANS, CHAMELEONS, ILKS, SNAKE, VAMPIRE, RATS, PIGS, WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHES. ANIMALS WITH VOICES, SUB HUMANS. AND THAT IS BEING KIND. THEY ARE MENTALLY ILL.

  • This is disgusting and has no reverance for God. What has happened to the state of the church today?

  • @rustyalien Man F U, the curch has come ALIVEEEEEH!

  • @rustyalien FORGIVENESS isn't REVERENCING GOD? I mean that is what the "F" is for....he is quite clear about it.

  • While this did most certainly get my attention, and being a man of God, I disagree with the method not necessarily with the message. Not to mention most of the ungodly folks that here this, geer and say that if this the kind of stuff that we preach about they would come and here it. Preach the word!!!

  • This is teribble! Who uses that attitude and tone when forgiving anyone? He needs to drop the act and go curse if he wants to curse. Much of what certain pastors do nowadays is totally uncalled for, and instead of advancing the kingdom of God it does th eopposite. I saw a video the other day of another one tap dancing on a communion table. Just too dramatic!!

  • I don't disagree that we need to forgive people, but I think this pastor went too far into making his message appeal to the worldly people and for the entertainment and shock value.

    2 Timothy 4:3-4

English Standard Version (ESV) 3(A) For the time is coming when people will not endure(B) sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4and(C) will turn away from listening to the truth and(D) wander off into myths.

  • 44 people are unable to forgive

  • The pharisees thought it so sad and horrible the way jesus spoke they crucified Him. The haters who comment need to check themselves. If this is what it takes to wake up the sleeping church, so be it. Jesus said not to let others offend us. If you got offended, you needed to be.

Now drink up the living water & hang w/ jesus. Much Love/Glory to God

  • @ootube7

    (o) "If this is what it takes to wake up the sleeping church, so be it. Jesus said not to let others offend us. If you got offended, you needed to be."

    (S) The Lord spoke thru Paul to Timothy and has already told us how to wake up the sleeping church... Its 3-words - "Preach the Word" in season and out of season... Simple!!! Preach the Bible... Yet too many pastors are too busy trying to entertain the church in the name of goofiness to get on tv.

  • omg shutttt up people. He got the point across about forgiveness AND made it funny/relatable. whats the problem with that.

  • @swtblacknezz ARe you serious? What word do you think was going through those peoples minds? What part of "let all your conduct be holy" do you not understand

  • @swtblacknezz UNREAL but TRUE. I must agree that the word “FORGIVE” is harder to pronounce than the suggestive letter “F” just as the action of forgiving is harder than … No one can question this man’s honesty as he plainly tells his followers and supporters what he’s doing to them, but the tragedy is: that’s all they are getting …

  • "Thumbs Up" if Duke Powell brought you here!

  • WELL F YO MOMMA

  • He said the new word in "THIS CHURCH". He did not say God's Church. Using this term relates to a world known degrading thought that this preacher thinks is good to use as if Jesus would have told his enemies when on the cross. This message is false. God would have never chosen that terminology. God has never accepted garments, thoughts from the enemy to alter or modify as if he was unable to "make a new". This is err, err; a disgrace and disrespect before God. Wait til kids say it at sch

  • Its funny how so many people ridicule the superficial part of this clip and fail to relate to the BIBLICAL principle that Pastor is emphasizing. During this time it is imperative that the Church become just as creative in presenting the message to people who are looking for something they can relate too, and not be bombarded with tradition and religiousity. This presentation, while a little on edge, is a great example of how not to get caught up in religion and how to connect with the bible

  • @MrBmccarter

Completely incorrect. Words/phrases have meanings in various times/places. In America we understand the phrase "F-You" to be one of the most disrespectful phrases you can use towards another person. We have a hard time understanding each others views, so why further complicate things by attempting to turn "F-you" into a redeeming phrase... That promotes a bunch of cloudiness in our communication. Just teach what the Bible says... Gods Word is sufficient ((enough)), you agree?

  • 1:40 - token white person.

  • I am not very familiar with Pastor Driscoll. However, from what I have read on the web site of Mars Hill Church they are a sound church believing all of the essentials of the Christian faith, and also holding to certain distinctives of Reformation Theology. I have heard a few of his sermons and they were all exegetically sound sermons. I have no axe to grind with Pastor Driscoll.

  • @Kinlow54 He only did it for the internet fame. Ohh and lets not forget the money! Thses circus callers have made christianity a circus act and rake in millions of dollars from the sheep they mislead. I would like to see one of them work a regular job and do this stuff for free. Thats right do it all without making one red cent off of others. That includes donations and any other type of monies. Do it for free and stop making money off of the blind, dumb, and the gullible.

  • My last response is: since texts such as James 3:10 teach us not to curse in any way ("My brethren these things ought not be"), why would God lead a person to disobey this command to accmplish His will? If you answer God would do such, then no other command in the bible is binding on any people at any time in any sense. Also, if God is doing this, then God is against the very commands He has given us to obey.

  • Concerning "F.U" being an evil filthy term only in the mind of men, it is evil in the sight of God and man. Go into a court room and tell the judge "I F.U." and you will be calling someone for bail money. As far as God is conerned James 3:10 says "from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. MY BRETHREN THESE THINGS OUGHT NOT BE THIS WAY." The word which is synonymous with F.U. is the worse curse word in the English language. Therefore, it should never be used, especially in the pulpit.

  • In the Gen. 45 account God used the evil done by Joseph's evil brothers to accomplish good. He did not move RIGHTEOUS JOSEPH TO DO EVIL TO ACCOMPLISH GOOD! Therefore, unless you are likening Dr. R.A. to Joseph's evil brothers doing evil to accomplish good, and I am sure you would not, this principle does not apply to your argument.

  • I do not disagree with the scriptural truth that unless we forgive others God will not forgive us for this is according to the word of God (Matt. 6:14-15). I have no criticism of Dr. R.A. teaching the truth of this text. The text regarding God using what others planned as evil to accomplish His will come from the account of Joseph in Gen. 45. I have no problem with this text either. PLEASE SEE MY ADDITIONAL RESPONSE TO ADDRESS YOUR LAST POINT.

  • Cool rolling pulpit! ((?!?!?!))

  • @chezniki I can not believe this statement seeing that it was R.A. Vernon who preached the FU sermon, talked about it on Tom Joyner, and published it on Youtube through The Word Church Media Ministries! The people who disagree with this non-sense are not the ones who have made this a public issue! Dr. R.A. Vernon and the Word Church are the ones who have made this a public topic and thus open for debate!

  • The people focusing on the FU are still the ones living so much of the fleshly world. Christians or not, your flesh is still of this world! If your mind was open to what Christ is really about, you'd be focused on what that pastor is saying. It has nothing to do with mega churches, etc. CHRIST DOES SAY FORGIVE!! Get over the holier then thou attitude. It's forgive. NOT what you're trying to carve into people's brains of what the worldly FU means!!!! *smh*

  • people are EASILY LEAD.... F you means FUCK you and if he can CHANGE the meaning just by saying it THEN i can clearly tell That pastor "HIS WIFE WAS A GOOD FUCK" and FUCK now means FRIEND YOU CAN KEEP.

  • @goalmaster14...ok then, go to your boss when you go to work and say to him, "You know what I know you don't like me but FU!" and see what he or she does...the bible says that evil communication corrupts good manner...

  • hahahaha this is hilarious!!!! And seriously people the point he was trying to get across is that the F word we all think of is hateful and he was trying to get us in the mindset of not using that word and instead Forgiving. all that was was a metaphor (i believe. i may have gotten my literary terms mixed)

There's no need for this holy war of who's right and who's wrong. It's just really immature

  • @Jackiemenefee, This Is Ridiculous. The Word Of God Is Not Supposed To Shock And Entertain You. It's Supposed To Edify (1Th 5:11).

  • The original "F" word is technically an anglo-saxon word, meaning according to God and the Bible it isn't a sin to say. Basically society as a whole has said its wrong because way back in the day it was the "dirty" people that said it, so therefore proper people would not say it. The work is actually an acronym for Fornication Under Carnal Knowledge. So everyone that wants to sit and judge a pastor that is reaching millions and YES getting the word of God out there, Judge Not ...

  • If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled BEFORE GOD and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself UNSPOTTED from the world - James 1:26-7. - The Word of God is sufficient in itself. Our gimmicks do not deliver people from sin but it is the Holy Spirit that works with AND through the Word to deliver and set people free!

  • Now don't get me wrong I am not saying that Jesus lived worldly. I am saying that if he was talking to a farmer, he used farming for his approach. When they wanted to chat with him about taxes, He said render to Caesar what is Caesar's then he turned around and said and to God what is God's. We are only seeing a portion of this message, we don't know how he closed.

  • I love the word of God! However, there are some people that will never read it or accept it the way it is written because other "Christians" have turned them off by attitudes such as these I am reading here. Now, Jesus went sinners houses and ate at their tables and got down on their level and spoke to them in ways that they could understand. During those times, that was a no no also. Nevertheless, when he was done their lives were changed.

  • anything about his children....... GOD BLESS

  • Only simple people will leave comments about his clothes and what they think it will represent. I know first hand the change he has made on this City, MY CITY, I know how many teens use to gangbang and would rather be in God's house then out there on the streets. How many families he has fed. He is doing what God set him to do.....So all you SIMPLE minded people get on your face before you leave nasty words about Gods son....I'm not a fool God is all powerful and I wouldn't be caught dead saying

  • You people kill me!!!!!!!!!! This Man of God is not only preaching the Word of God but reaching our youth which so many do not even know who God is. Yes he did say FU but did you not hear the scripture he read right before then. You can not ask for forgiveness from God until you forgive the ones that have done you wrong. This message (the whole sermon) was very inspirational. But only simple minded people can only be stuck on what he said.

  • its rather sad that the church INSISTS on drawing the world by tryna be like the world.....this is assimilation, false doctrine and plain luke warmness. Jesus simply says in Matthew,"Dont swear like the heathesns, but let your yes be yes and your no be no!". this is a saddening misrepresentations of the Gospel and a classic example of people wanting their eyes tickled and not wanting to adhere to SOUND DOCTINE!

  • no dr, in the church that man title

  • Thanks for preaching in boldness and creating an amazing response so that even our students in New Braunfels, TX are using the F Word in a positive way! I think Jesus took culture and creatively responded and another guy named Paul did the same. Keep preaching and reaching!

  • AMEN.lol

  • This Nicca is crazy... my poor black folks... SMH.. Ya'll follow this jackass. F yo mamma, F your family, this is un heard of.... In the REAL WORLD. FU means a whole other word sir. You bold for even having this topic in your church, but I guess you named your church right "THE WORD CHURCH". SMH

  • Actually, I didn't axe. But, I Forgive you.

  • no one gets the point? Your questioning how this is biblical? He is making a point that F U should not be derogatory. We should be striving for good. I dont know the rest of the sermon or the church. Over all it may not be on the right path but this one segment, is making a very good point. He changed something bad into something good. Is that too difficult to understand?

  • This is the reason why the world does not take the church seriously. This is false teaching, ludicrous, offensive, and embarrassing. You don't have to be like the world to get someone's attention, John 12:32 says "And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself." JUST LIFT UP JESUS! PREACH JESUS! It is enough. SMH!!!!

  • wow its funni..im a teen at the word church and too be honest i never thought that kids/teens culd feel the presence of God or could have a breakthrouh..i always thought that only adults can experience those type of things w/Him..but i have never felt so loved and protected b4....God has allowed me to c nd go through things that other teens nd at the word church i ve learned sooo much nd mi relationship w/ God has grown nd yea so wat ima teen the bible says that the holy spirit has NO age limi

  • Pastor Jamal Bryant preached a sermon the other year saying this FU. This dude is a crazy copycat. He sucks & he has a foul mouth & he's teaching others to do the same. God is not pleased. MATTHEW 7:21 - 24

  • wow, and we wonder why the world is already in hell.

  • I think the Likes/Dislikes counter is rigged!!

  • NOTICE HE WASN'T SAYING "I" FORGIVE U BUT SIMPLY "FU"!!

MORE THOUGHT COULD'VE BEEN PUT IN 2 PRESENTING THAT ACRONYM.

    WOW!!!

  • Don't focus on the FU focus on the principle of forgiveness..don't miss the point.

  • @swtsakey You don't miss these points please Matthew 7:21 - 24 1 Corthians 15:33 Ephesians 4:29 Luke 11:39 Of all the sermons he could've copied off of Pastor Jamal Bryant he picked this one.... I don't know what he was thinking, it was'nt edifing to the body when Pastor Bryant preached it a couple of years ago & it's not edifing now w/ him preaching it. Learn & trust God' way of doing things. Take Care

  • @swtsakey you can't help but focus on the "FU" isn't that what he's preaching?!?! Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

  • Who in died and made Tom Joyner an authority on anything.TMJ is a radio show that shares their opinion and nothing else doesn't make it right just because they said it. @cerealkiller FU for the shit you have on your page, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. When you learn self respect as a woman, then you may qualify to call me a dumb ass but until you know who you really are--you got work to do. FU for being judgmental. The rest that don't get this FU for taking it Personal.

  • In the WORLD not of the World.. i dont need to use a worldly slogan to win nobody to Christ.. Jesus said If I be lifted up ILL DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME!!! THATS WORD CHURCH!!! Im offended but "F HIM" How does that sound??smh... We need to Preach Jesus thats it and thats all!!! The Day of Pentecost when the WORD was preached the Bible said they Gladly Received The Word. Get back to the word!! The Letter Kills, and "SHOCKS" but its the Spirit that makes alive... Praying for this man and flock

  • @moneygreen3 Very Well Put x's 10

  • Out of control

  • I don't think I agree with this. Actually I completely disagree with making such a horrible analogy in the House of the Lord. This is so much America.... Sad....

  • @danafaina False Doctrine is all over the world. That's what's really sad. Jesus did'nt tell u it was just a American problem did he? How many false so called men of God in the Bible are from America?

  • I said that, because I'm coming from an eastern European country, but I've never heard someth. like this, from the mouth of somebody who claims to serve God. I see so much false teaching and so many "christians" who just look for entertainment here in America. Don't get me wrong, I came here a few years ago and was shocked how diluted the christianity can be, how much people just want to feel good, they preach and live a cheap grace and a cheap salvation. We all need to repent and turn to Christ!

  • @danafaina You are absolutely correct! Most of what you see on T.V. religion in the U.S., and most of what you see in Mega churches is a hybrid/false form of Christianity which is not about glorifying the Person and Redemptive work of Christ on the cross, nor would it be recognized by the Apostles as Christianity. IT IS ABOUT ENTERTAINMENT, WORSHIP OF THE PASTOR OR BISHOP, ME, MYSELF AND I GETTING MY PRAISE THING ON! What you see is an Apostate Church or one which is very close to it!

  • @danafaina

    the top comment ever!

    thank you!

  • @danafaina well said.

  • He got this from Jamal if Im not mistaken--both are great men of God

  • @FroopieLoopies He did; a couple of years ago but wrong is wrong no matter who u r. W.W.J.S? 1 Corinthians 15:33 Ephesians 4:29 Matthew 7:21 24

  • I have been watching this post since it first came out. It amazes me that I have not read one articulate, lucid, biblical argument from a grammatical-historical method of biblical interpretation which justifies R.A's remarks. The reason why is this is the type of Christian which is being produced/discipled by most of these mega type ministries. Christians who are not growing in their knowledge of God's word, Christians who can not discern truth by searching the Bible. VERY SAD!

  • @Kinlow54 what if I hithermore said I had an articulate, lucid, and biblical arguement from both a grammatical and historical method of biblical interpretation which completely justifies R.A.s remarks? :)

  • @blackdog2k6 If someone can show that this type of analogy is biblical then all who are in opposition to what Dr. R.A. said have no right to be critical of his use of the "FU" terminology for he would be doing that which is biblical or in accordance with the word of God. In contrast, if someone can give no sound scriptural argument to support the use of vulgar analogies such as "FU" then those who are in favor of Dr. Vernon's must ask themselves is Dr.R.A. doing that which is biblical?

  • @blackdog2k6 To make it very simple, if what R.A. spoke is biblical then those who are critical of him need to SHUT UP! If what R.A. spoke is unbiblical then R.A. and those who support the "FU" sermon need to SHUT UP!

  • @Kinlow54 I agree with you. Not to mention, the Freemason back board, and the anti-christ fashion he's wearing that anyone can pick up at Wallmart or Target. Look up Satanic, Illuminati Fashion. It's one of the subtle tricks being used to bring in the subliminal message of excepting the anti-christ.

  • @Kinlow54 The bible say if you do not forgive then your farther in heaven will not forgive you that's biblical. Also the bible teaches that what the devil meant for evil God can use it for good. The world looks at F.U as being negative, but this man of God is using it for good.

  • @Kinlow54 Just out of curiosity, what do you think of Mark Driscoll?

  • Oh goodness... Jesus... wow

  • dayyum i wanna go here

  • This type of analogy should never be made in anyone's pulpit. Please read Titus 2:6-8 before you respond to what I am saying. Just to show you how vulgar this is ask yourself the following quesiton: "if Jesus were to personally appear before me right now would i say to him "Lord, I thank you for "F" ing me," or would I say "Lord, I thank you for forgiving me of all my sins?" If you answer I would say the former it begs the question as to whether you fear God.

  • f you barack obama,,,,no really,,,,,f you obama,,,,you long legged mack daddy,,,,,barack and george st pierre had a steamy love affair,,,America has been without a president since 08,,,,,we are committing political suicide. Was you aware that when McCain put his bid in from president ( a true war hero, was a prisioner of war,,both arms broke,,,beaten, for over 5 years), the democrats wouldn't let him run without having a huge inquiry about him being qualified, what about barack???????????????

  • Yall really need to get off your high horses. It's suppose to shock you! What kind of mind set do you really have if all you are concerned about it is how the world perceives FU.This could be used as a opening to lead someone to Christ, someone that has a problem with profanity.

  • @jackiemenefee Is this God' way of doing things? Why don't u tell God to get off his high horse? God' word 1 Corinthian 15:33 Ephesians 4:29 Ppl r going to be in trouble. Matthew 7:21 - 24 . Do not be one of those ppl. please. Ppl talk real raw sometimes when someone says something about a so called man of God. Do not get it twisted Jesus talked about & said look out for so called men of God.

    Luke 11:39 -44 Take Care

  • @jackiemenefee The mindset that I have is one that would lift up the NAME OF JESUS WITH CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY!!! I am concerned about how the world perceives FU because I am a representation of JESUS's saving grace. How can we (I) say that we are saved if we do what they do? Saved from what?!?! My goal is to bring souls into the KINGDOM. This is offensive to the unsaved as well those that are saved.

  • @jackiemenefee You think this is about being on a high horse?! I could NEVER EVER imagine Christ Jesus preaching this way! EVER!!! Have nothing to do with the world! And if you actually think, that if I were to text you, FU for all the things you've done to hurt me, you wouldn't think I was telling you to F-off! How about Shocking one by living a live of INTEGRITY! That would be a shocker! Or Living a life of PURITY! Or living HOLY! Shock someone with VIRTUE, not Obscenity!

  • This is not gospel!!! period! If I was to tell someone that, I would say, "I forgive You" not "FU"..IT'S NOT the correct way of spelling it anyway...its "YOU"..you better be careful because if someone is not saved or an un-delivered Christian hear you say that to them...YOU MIGHT GET HURT..go ahead and try it. Pastor Vernon is a well educated man but he sounded Novice and ignorant on this one its likened to WELL EDUCATED republicans some are doctors and lawyers, calling HEALTH CARE..OBAMA CARE.

  • This sermon is nothing new, a friend 30 years ago came up to me and said the same thing. It had been introduced by I don't know who...at his church.

  • who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

  • Message-Forgiveness; Method-"By any means necessary"; Mindset-Where is your mind? Not on winning souls for the kingdom! Grow up and get back to work for Christ...SAINTS!

  • Forgiveness is needed in this world and that word needs to get out to the world. Forgiveness is what it is all about.

  • 1:13- 1:39 is the best haha

  • u could see the congregation not even knowing HOW to accept this...they were like "OMG really dude?" just as well as us,

  • When you make the make the statement FU the first thing that comes to your mind

is F___ you COME ON WAKE UP SLEEPING CHURCH.

  • @mgbbaby1 You got to know your church to deliver this message, because you want the message itself to be heard, not something else. But there is nothing wrong with this message, it is most certainly central to Jesus' own Gospel message. And if tailored for the right audience, then it is as wonderful as any 18th century hymn or John Wesley sermon on grace.

If there is a problem with it, the real problem is that the church is so asleep it needs to hear it again and finds this form shocking.

  • @TurkceBilmiyorum church is for the sheep, not the goats, churches like this like to pander to the fallen nature of man, and entertainment is their gospel, read the rebuke to the churches of Revelation. we need to get back to teaching God's word, not preaching foolhardiness, read Eph. 3:

  • Comment removed

  • @cross2crownGman777 I can't think of anything more in keeping with the message of Christ than to teach the church that our response to people is to forgive as God in Christ forgave us.

This pastor is hardly pandering; he has reinterpreted something the sheep hear from the goats daily, and given them a new way to hear and to respond that is in keeping with what it means to be a follower of Christ who lives out the Gospel & represents God's Kingdom in the world. This IS our first love!

  • One day Christians if thats what they are, will grow up and understand that the purpose of the pastor is not to entertain us but equip us for the work of the ministry. If you tell a lost person FU i dont care how you dress it up they are going to think you're crazy and that won't glorify God.

  • If Holy men of old did'nt change it in the WORD of GOD that was inspired by GOD

why do you fill the need to change it.

  • This is stupid... seriously... stupidity at best

  • why are we focusing on what was said instead of practicing what the message says?

  • @mizzsizzel cuz hearing a pastor say "F U" is flipping HILARIOUS!!!

  • I think it says somewhere in the Bible that there will be teachers that will talk in a way that will please the crowd/people. Thats not the job of any preacher or any pastor. He is meant to teach the Word of God with reverent fear of the Lord....WITH FEAR!

  • NO matter HOW pretty you try to make it ...IT STILL MEANS THE SAME THING.

JUST LIKE THE WORD NIGGER & NIGGA . I bet you Mr. R.A. Vernon wont go

on the the street tellin people" F-YOU and F YALL TOO. FOOLISHNESS!!!!!!!!!SMH

  • @Powell4184 If you think it all means the same thing, then you completely missed the point and the meaning. NO, it DOES NOT mean the same thing. We're CHANGING THE MEANING! It's time!

  • How stupid is this pastor, who said all the ppl in the church have offended you? This is nothing but a gimmick for silly women!!

  • Jeez, all the people trying to post complicated religious comments.

Just enjoy the irony, guys. It's the internet. Nothing is serious here.

  • To the 19 people who dislike this message. F U!

  • If you dislike this FU =D

  • I had to listen to the video more than once to hear the blasphemy but I didn''t. I don't understand why its that some pastors have a problem with the way the word was taught. When you text the word you the letter u is used so get over it and learn to forgive because you have a narrow mind.i must be honest that when I first heard about this sermon so many so called Christains had made it sound like there was profanity used, once again narrow minded.Just why do we have 2 b so critical of others.

  • the concept of trying to persuade the youth in the church to forgive others by twisting a simple regularly used insult = good idea

The way the idea was delivered (and over-delivered) = bad idea

If he had just left it at "the new F word is forgive", the message would have probably sank in more......but then again,, positive + negative = negative

  • @markmorris1993 now you want to tell the messenger what and how to speak according to u

  • Nice word, I used this a few years ago at a seven last saying service, let's me know I am in good company....preach on Black Man

  • This is over the top. This not acceptable. The bible admonish us to set an example for the world. This is not an example. The world says these things. Man of God, Man of God.....no...no...This is not a witness tool.

  • Christ was more than a man so OS method was truth no chaser not the new word is F U even the way it was applied we all know what that means when we say F U and forgive is not what comes to mind

  • Great message. Unfortunately, too many people have condemned the method and message of the sermon. I've viewed misapplied scriptures relating this message. The truth is that Jesus made some controversial statements and actions the warranted him to be called a blasphemer and a devil. This is a basic principle for daily living. The question is whether or not the method compromised the message. Christ never compromised his message yet his methods differed from the teachers of his day.

  • We have to be careful when we defend our pastors...they are humans who are prone to make mistakes. Paul rebuked Peter to his face. The members of the Word Church shouldn't take these gentle rebukes of Pastor Vernon personally. We who preach the Gospel should be held to a high standard. It may take some time, but I believe Pastor Vernon will someday regret using FU to illustrate the importance of forgiveness.

  • ernem8, thanks for the spell check, but have you ever heard of TYPO's? Go back to the ALTAR. Is that better? God bless you too!

  • Pastor Vernon I hope you are paying attention to these post, because it is so important, even to people that don't belong to your church. Your method of Preaching is indeed unique and I believe you have a gift, but even YOU can CHECK YOURSELF......FU..no matter how you put it...is just fowl....lets think.....I never seen a scripture in the Bible that I can equate FU to...stick to the Bible allow it to lead you...not your E.G.O (easing God out)
