  • I would just pop a small hole in the other side of the servo piece just to be safe,,great plane!

  • @tenrazo215 the mini pulse is a great plane, very aerobatic and does flies great. I still fly mine often. I would recommend it.

  • srry i meant 480 but isnt it to small just the way its shaped?

  • @bryanandrew369 this plane comes with a 450, a 480 is slightly larger, and a power 10 even larger.

  • isnt a park 180 to small? in length

  • @bryanandrew369 480, not 180

  • do you thinnk a power 10 would fit?

    the stock motor has a

    1.3 in length 33mm

    1.1 in 28 mm Diameter

    and the power 10has a

    35mm (1.40 in) diameter

    43mm (1.60 in) length

  • @bryanandrew369 with some modification you should be able to make it fit. I can say with the stock motor and the right prop, this thing has almost enough power to climb straight up and hover as well. I think maybe a park 480 would be plenty, and would fit easier.

  • wanna sell it:)

  • @bryanandrew369 nope, sorry

  • What kind of flight time did you get with the 1300mah battery?

  • @shawncatib 3 to 5mins about, depending on throttle use, and I use high throttle.

  • The covering on this plane is Ultracoat, like Monokote but better. Also I would replace the quick connect on the rudder and get that servo centered. You can buy them at any LHS.

  • how fast do you think it goes, and does it have unlimited vertical

  • @brendanw122 hmm, never used a radar on it, but it is a quick plane. I really don't know, but I would guess around 60mph top speed. Yes, it does have unlimited vertical. I put a different prop on that made it even faster, and I have even been able to hover this plane a bit.

  • @earthling1984 thank you for the reply. I have mastered the parkzone micro p51 and the art tech j3 cub with ailerons. do you think this plane would be a good next plane, or should i go with the park zone t28 or another plane. btw i have mastered this plane on my simulator

  • @brendanw122 The parkzone T28 or E-flite apprentice are both great choices for your first larger size 4ch plane. I think you would be just fine with the mini pulse too, just know, if you crash it, it will get much more damamged than a foam plane would, and will be harder to fix.

  • Whats up with the covering on the Port WIng... May need to get the Heat gun out and Shrink that Covering up...

  • would this be a good plane to fly after a trajan ?

  • @thechickboy1 yes, the mini pulse is very very simple to build, which I loved about it and it flies very smooth. It is very light plane, so start with low rates because even a bit of throw really makes this plane turn! But it is very very smooth and easy to fly, and once you are comfortable you can set the control surfaces to high rates and you can really do some fun stunts with it. It also is pretty durable, I have never crashed it, but I have had some hard/bouncy landings with no damage.

  • @earthling 1984

Hi earthling, finally maidened her the other day.your right the 450 has bags of power, she took off really quickly and cruises on quarter throttle.a nice easy relaxing plane to fly as well. But she is a bit of a floater and doesn't want to land lol

  • @oldmillbarn nice, glad you like it!

  • @earthling1984

Thanks I've put an apc electric 10x7 on it and it seems powerful on the bench, also on some forums they suggest nylon bolts with springs or rubber grommets on undercarriage because it can rip off on heavy landings.has this been an issue for you, thanks.

  • Sorry earthling, only joking, just my sense of humour.good review I'm just finishing mine putting the stock 450 motor with a 30 amp controller, seems to have plenty enough power, can't wait to maiden her but the weather in uk is to cold at moment, happy flying

  • @oldmillbarn cool. It does have plenty of power with the 450. I was thinking of upgrading to a 480 but that really isn't needed. I did change the prop though, and now I have unlimited vertical

  • Lol,it's a balsa wood plane,mostly made of balsa wood.do'h,really?

  • @oldmillbarn yup yup, really

  • hi man in my home page what ever its called i forget. any way it says i am 20 but i am actully 10 you will see the thing if you go. i was just being dumb with my friend

  • i ment to put one coment with is the second one sorry i do not know alot abuot it i just made my acount

  • @123rcflyer no problem :)

  • hi man i have a mini pulse xt to same one and it flys ssssssssoooooooooooooo nice i am going to upload a vid about it one more thing. i crashedit once because my battery was to small it dead sticked

  • @123rcflyer cool. It is a nice plane. I put a little larger prop on, and larger ESC, and now it goes straight up, unlimited. Can even hover it for a few seconds. Pretty nice plane and easy to build.

  • hi man i have a mini pulse xt to same one and it flys ssssssssoooooooooooooo nice i am going to upload a vid about it

  • Thanks for reply,so helpful

  • if i can fly all the planes in real flight basic could i fly this and could i put a go pro hero wide camer on this plane

  • @tigersfan45700 you could probably fly it just fine. I'm not sure of that exact camera or its weight, but yes, this plane has plenty of power to lift a small camera.

  • Hi earthling I've got a parkzone 480 motor and eflite 30 amp esc out of my stinson.do you think this will be ok in the mini pulse

  • does it break real easy in a crash

  • @rcrules1 hmm... I've never crashed it so I can't really say. It has handled some rough landings just fine, but never crashed it.

  • @earthling1984 thanks alot

  • then move the servo arm more to the rudder side and then put the wire more throught duhh try that. its logicalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

  • @Nowak98765 don't know what you are referring too as this video is old and I haven't re-watched it.. .this plane was easily built and flies very well though.

  • can u put the battery from eflite from apprentice into this plane or no because of the size of that battery and weight.. good thing i have that battery from parkzone cuz i have a T-28 and a bf109 :)

  • @Nowak98765 the apprentice battery may be a bit heavy for this plane. I'm sure it would 'work' but it will for sure add some weight and cause the plane to be a little sluggish as compared to the recommended battery.

  • did u ever end up flying with the 2200 and if so did u have any problems?

  • @Dirttbike4life yes, works fine

  • hello earthling1984 i have the 2100mAh 3S 11.1V 20C LiPo from e-flite... can i use that for my mini pulse? i have no idea how can i know... help please!

  • @jorge2181996 yeah that battery should be fine.

  • @earthling1984 thanks..... i had a parkzone corsair and i know how to fly it.. it burned last saturday :(... do you think that plane is ok for me?

  • @jorge2181996 yeah, if u can fly the corsair fine you will be just fine with this! just take it slow to start until you know how the plane handles, but I don't see you having any problem, the pulse is very smooth!

  • how much cost?

  • @traxxas1234567890 $199 for the PNP.

  • Looks like fun, just ordered one to replace my pz Trojan. Yours even comes with 'real nitro sound' in your video, I'm opting for the quiet bl motor;)

  • @SlyOne77 you will LOVE IT. It is very capable in the air! Can do all the stunts the trojan can do, but it is a little faster(not crazy fast, but it is faster than the trojan). It takes off and lands easy, and aerobatics are great! I love flying sideways with it(with one wing pointed at ground, other at the sky).

  • I suggest you to change your cameraman.

  • Use rudder fro cross wind?

Are you working for a hobbyshop? where do you get so many planes from?

    A sponsored pilot?

  • @shangsandy87 I do use rudder when landing. I pay my own money for the planes.

  • that cool, looks like it flies really good, looks really responsive. Good landing considering the conditions. Great video as usual!

  • @ramis182 Thanks! It is an amazing plane, and it flies just great!

  • Good video.

I've always liked the mini pulse.

I have it's big brother the Pulse 40.

    Thumbs Up ~ Eric

  • @joehandsome99 Thanks :) It is very fun to fly!

  • Oh and also, I told another youtuber (alishanmao) about the battery/ESC situation, and basically the stock ESC is (hopefully!) rated to support the maximum amount of amps that the motor will "need" at its peak performance. That is, if you supply a battery that can deliver more amps, the motor will get the best/highest performance, but you can't go beyond it without changing anything else. So the motor will limit the amount of amps being taken from your battery, even if it can deliver much more.

  • @Admiral1428 Oh, if so that is nice, so I can use my 2200mAh's without worry then :)

  • Nicely done. A friend of mine has one with a 480 motor and 30A ESC, and a different prop, along with 2200 30C batteries, and it screams. He uses the wheel pants and I don't think he is losing any performance.

  • @Admiral1428 Thanks! Yeah the wheel pants I'm sure won't make much difference. I may add them on later, it is a simple 2 minute screw on task, I just was a little lazy I guess, and I figured less weight = good.

I probably won't change the motor, but I will add on a new prop and see how that helps. I actually tried to put it on to begin with, but I stripped the collet! Luckily the stock prop wasn't as thick, and freed up some good treads on the collet!

  • Good video. Looks like a nice plane. with a little less wind it will probably be solid. BTW how much does that plane cost?

  • @Jeremybaland Thanks. Yeah with less wind it would be very stable I'm sure. It was doing well with the wind, landing was just a little rocky. It is $199 for the PNP kit.

  • I Love this plane!!! My favorite one, glad to see a good review/overview.

  • @NavyRCdude Thanks! :) I'm really enjoying it as well! Only flown it that one time so far, can't wait for a calm day to really try it out.

  • Cool loking plane .Just wondering why the left wing has that huge wrinkle in it? flies great. Good thing your wife doesn`t flash you while your flying heheh ,you might crash heheh . hey thnks 4 the video.

  • @3xut not sure, it just came like that. I haven't tried to fix it at all for fear I will just rip it. It doesn't seem to affect flight in any way though.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • another great plane review....but i did notice your mainwings have wrinkleson a few spots which should go away if you usean iron on them.

  • @parkzonecorsairtips Thanks! :) Yeah there is a little bit of wringles on the main wing. I didn't want to damage it so I haven't messed with it.

  • Landing? It's on the ground and in one piece = success.

    Nice plane and flight!

  • @nishbrown Agreed, not so pretty, but as long as it lands in one piece then all is good :)

  • Bloody hell, how many planes you buyin

  • Very nice mate but got to ask have you got shares in Horinzon Hobby or something as you are buying them planes like they are going out of fasion lol, just joking mate, can't you just drill that hole out on your control linkage ? then just center it again and they are called whell pants that fit over the wheels, little tip try to use the rudder more on landings when its that windy it will help ;-) thumbs up.

  • @startazz Thanks :) Yes I could just drill it out. I didn't have a tiny drill bit right now to do that, I may do it later. It fits in almost all the way, over 3/4ths, so it holds in just fine, and I have it trimmed out right, so all is good. I do try to use the rudder to aim during landing, today the wind was coming a little perpendicular to the field. .

  • @startazz I love horizon hobby products! I got a few 'other brand' planes. One of them is the catalina... I am doing a vid on it now.. It is HORRIBlE. The control arms have no force(they bend in the fusalage and have no strength!), the elevator won't push up with 2 quarters on it... I am replaceing all hardware in it with quality HH servos/control arms/RX. Video on that plane will come soon :)

  • @earthling1984 Yeah me too man i was only playing with you ;-) that catalina is it doesn't sound too good as far as qulity goes ;-( but i'm sure you will have it sorted no problem ;-) off to bed now mate i'll catch up on any other vids you load tomorrow ok,laters.

  • Great video and review! I subscribed

You should put one of those mini cams in the glass canopy...that would be fun

  • @E744763Productions Thanks!

I do have a camera, but I didn't use it on this plane yet. I have a couple videos up from other planes with the camera on it though.
