In regards to Crystal wars:

I was one of the 4 devs on the project. The video link posted here by Yardsale is (I believe) posted by a teacher at Murdoch University in Perth Western Australia Kevin Wong). I assume he is advertising the games degree that we studied by showing our works.

The video shown is a gameplay video we used during our final presentation.

Apologies for any disappointment, but the game will never be released. Production was halted after graduation due to engine problems.

Oddly, the Crystal Wars game is seemingly abandoned, and their website MYFIRSTGORILLA seems to be defunct. None of the links on the crystal wars website appear to be working.

Crystal Wars was slated for a 2007 release, and TIMM started in late November 2008. The timing of each respective project seems suspect.
