@Alyeska134 no, it is the case with all organ transplants. you cannot transfer any tissue from one person to another without significant immunosuppression and risk of rejection. it is common knowledge for anyone that knows biology of the human. it is illegal, malpractice, and dangerous to transplant hair from one person to another. lifelong immunosuppression, risk of rejection, and ultimate failure are the risks. i have an upcoming blog on this since i get this question all the time.
I have a question.. Is there a minimum amount of hairloss needed in order to get a hair transplant? Like my frontal line became a bit 'blurry' , but i have no real recession of the line itself (still the same as it was when i was 16). Just the first 2 centimeters are less dence than before. I started with propecia about a year ago and it has quite filled in and it looks quite good right now. I'm just wondering if this does progress, how long I should wait before a HT ? I'm 29 by the way
there is no minimum amount of hair loss. i have done hairlines in people with very little hair loss. however, that being said, the younger you are the greater the risk there is in the sense that you might continue to lose more hair then will require more transplants behind my work to cover it. given your age, in general i might wait a few years to decide. obviously, i would need to see you to be certain.

@Alyeska134 simply put, you cannot transplant hair from one person into another because they will be rejected.
