people just cant stop comparing , just be happy what console you have, you can even have 2 or 3 different console gaming, every system has ups and downs, ps3 has killzone3, WII has conduit 2, 360 has Gears OF War, so what ever it is just be happy and stop the fuzzing

Hmm a few things, Wii Didnt target elders,kids etc,wii just did what a Console should do,Innovate,make things funner,make things Different,not like PS3 or Xbox360,which are just like a PC but with a controller and its connected on Tv,cuz besides a few titles(Halo,Forza,FF etc)the most important ones like NFS/Fifa/PES and alot more,are also done by PC,and honestly,i prefer haveing the Wii and a PC instead of a PS3 or Xbox360.with 299$,i can put my pc hardcore and enjoy games alot more.

there's may be more games on the wii, but most of them are just shovelware rehashes of wii sports type minigame collections, in terms of actual quality innovative game experiences the ps3 far outperforms the wii.

Yes they have millions infront of sony but that advance is still small. And don't forget sony & m$ are hell more richer than nintendo, so they can afforde more games, buy more dev & build better hardware, and also market more. I think nintendo won't be sega but they won't stay 1.

what the heck do you mean?it's only $399, and their dropping the price soone to something in the range of $250-299, that's an extremely dirt cheap price when you consider if you had to get all the functionalities of the ps3 on wii, it would cost you well over a 1000 dollars

the wii is just easier to market, it reaches to a market beyond the usual gamers, it tries to entice with more than just quality innovative game experiences( which it lacks), but instead promising things like "being good for you" and a lazy way to lose weight and be healthy , things the majority of the population cares about not just the gamers.

what do you mean it's not enough for the price? a 120 gig ps3 slim costs $299, a 120 gig xbox 360 costs $399, that number is a little misleading, because the 360 does not include alot of the features of the $299 ps3. if you we're to get the same features of the ps3 on your xbox 360;wi-fi adapter($100), Blu-ray($250-$600),online($50 a year). it would cost you $799 ,assuming you get the cheapest blu-ray player, xbox live for only one year, if you used it for 5 years it would cost you $999!!!

$999 on an xbox360, for all the features included in a $299 ps3, that's $600 dollars more enough for 2 more ps3s. the "base price" of $399 for a 360 is very misleading, you have to look at what y our getting for you money as well not just how much your paying. Sadly most people don't and that is why 360 is outselling ps3.

their about to drop the price but anyways, the wii is not the best console out their, its actually far from it and not even next gen. Its only dominating because its targeting a larger market (elders, kids, babies, overgrown, women....). Why ps3 & 360 focus on hardcore gamers (teens, adults). For me i consider the ps3 the best in the market because all the games coming in out is targeting me, unlik the wii. Its better for sony profit to go casual but the hardcore direction is great for me.

how did microsoft copy the wii? their using a camera that tracks your entire body, while wii uses the motion sensing wiimote. don't act like wii came up with motion controls, the ps2 had it with the eyetoy, and their coming out with the new playstation motion controller which seems to be superior to both natal and motion plus.
