Could it have been because both fighters are from cali and LA has a large Mexican fan base and that helped the fight have the largest attendance for any event in the staples center. Mosley used illegal performance enhancing drugs in his fight with Oscar, and probably in many more fights. He admitted this being under oath. So you must also mean that Mosley is a fucking cheater also.
We'll see what comes out from the Margarito incident tonight. Hell, maybe he realized he couldn't win at 160, so he wanted to cheat to avoid getting beat up as bad as he did, lol.

Sugar Shane Mosley fought a beautiful, flawless fight and deserves all the credit.
However, I do believe Margarito let something get to his head this fight. He definitely underestimated Mosley and was not expecting the unexpected. After a few rounds you could see he had no answer. Even though Margarito comes back strong, I was able to say it was over by round 6 or 7.
Now that really shows us how important that 'focus' is like Mosley said He had it and took it away from Marg like a baby

Margarito fought Santos at 154, Jr. Middleweight, and he had a very hard time hurting Santos. He took Santos' shots, but no surprise, he lost that fight by TKO.

Didn't both boxers fight at 160 lbs? Why was the title on the line when this was a Middleweight fight? Why would Margarito fight at 160 when he's never had success at a higher weight class than Welterweight? When Shane fought Cotto, both where at 147, I believe. There was no change Margarito would have won the fight at 160. When I heard this, I knew he had no chance.

I know what you mean by Margarito not looking the same. Before the fight he looked OVER excited. He looked OVER confident. After every round his only answer to getting hit was laughing it off.
Mosley fought a perfect fight Worked the body as well as literally crippling Margs offense. He was always one-step ahead and made it his fight.

Yes I did see the fight to answer your question and no the fight wasn't the same.
Margaritos mentality vs Mosley was more 'I can't lose' hence the laughing after the first 3 or 4 rounds.
Margaritos mentality vs Cotto was more focused and less underestimating just as Mosley performed tonight.
Mosley worked the body, Cotto did not. Mosley had amazing defense, Cotto did not.
As i've already said Mosley worked the body early and he did it very well like he said so himself.
