I saw The Kendalls a number of years ago in the Latham Coliseum in Latham, NY and when she began singing; "Making Believe", her voice just reverberated so intensely, that I thought my ear drums were going to burst. She has one terrific and powerful singing voice. Thanks for posting! 5*****s!
She married their guitar player, Mack Watkins. They've been married about 30 years. I used to play bass for the Kendalls and I toured with Jeannie when she did her first solo album, and still occasionally play with her when she needs me. They are wonderful people.
They were great. I'm not sure whether she married or not. I have searched high and low and can't find anything about her personal life other then her singing while growing up.
Yes ... Married ... Kendall, who is married to her lead guitarist, Mack Watkins, will resume touring with the release of the album. On some dates, she says, she will use her regular band, Moving Train, and, on others, bluegrass players."
@livingadream2 There is a website, jeannie kendall. com (no space, but it would not let me post the link) that tells alot about the duo, before and after Royce's death. Jeannie married her lead guitarrest, and as far as I know they are still married.

iam 63 years old. love blues and rock and roll. but the kendalls grab me years ago and they havent let go.i spent many hours years ago in my beroom listening to them for hours. they were the best.
They certainly were! It just wasn't the same when Royce passed on in '98 and Jeannie went solo. I do like some of her solo songs but it's just not the same without her Dad.

I read somewhere where Jeannie Kendall married somebody in her band or her manager.
Sorry if I burst your balloon.
