@deusradix -- it's a 1968 with an O-320-E2D 150hp engine and the propeller pitched to 53" --- I'm not sure I can get much more speed out of the plane without more horsepower and a constant speed propeller. The Cardinal rule is: if you can't go fast, look good!
That is one very well equipped cardinal. Did you have a big headwind? Because 115 of GS is pretty low at that altitude.
