You're really going to dig that camera for live shows, I was shocked @ how well everything turned out. The mic level was set to auto, simple as can be. If you're capturing film on zoom, don't bother to try to take shots without a tripod, the blur is impossible to avoid plus it hiccups your video as you saw, I had only owned the camera for 3 days before this show so it was very much a learning experience. Sounds very good. I am longing to try my new S5 at a rock concert, as my other camera couldn't cope with loud sound. Good recording. Thanx.
