I can say that of very few I met in my years in the Christian TV and gospel music industries. Tammy really believed everything she shared on camera and in interviews, as "out there" as it may sound and as "out there" as some of it was. She and Dinah Shore are the only celebrities I ever met who really were the person the public saw onscreen.

Being in my twenties mid-70s my buddies & I would make fun of PTL club.Mostly of Jim Bakker.He was always crying/asking for money (we'd look at the TV & say yeah, for your yacht) Earlier tonight, I found 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye' documentary on HULU thru IMDB & felt so horrible for the way Faye was ridiculed & joked about.Try to watch it & not tear up.There were a lot of charlatan's around her but she was a genuinely good person. I can say that of very few I met in my years in the Christian TV and gospel music industries. She and Dinah Shore are the only celebrities I ever met who really were the person the public saw onscreen.

Being in my twenties mid-70s my buddies & I would make fun of PTL club.Mostly of Jim Bakker.He was always crying/asking for money (we'd look at the TV & say yeah, for your yacht) Earlier tonight, I found 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye' documentary on HULU thru IMDB & felt so horrible for the way Faye was ridiculed & joked about.Try to watch it & not tear up.There were a lot of charlatan's around her but she was a genuinely good person. I was very surprised & came out of it liking her.

Yeah, yeah. she sinned.. poor woman, my ass- She ripped off the elderly and the infirm in ways that are beyond vulgar, is what she did.
