  • Kobe is just more flash over substance in the end of game moments.

  • The main thing I see here is Kobe just straight up taking the worst shots in history. When there's time to take a good shot, he just heaves it. He'd be much better in the clutch if he just simply made a move. If all his game winners were say back down fadeaways(situation providing) he'd be 90%

  • This is where I've always said, as good as Kobe is, his decision making is was never and will never be as good as MJs. MJ had this ability to draw out a play before it happened...rarely he forced situations...

  • Your really gonna say kobe is not clutch dumbass

  • The team won the rings not KOBE.the BALLHOG

  • Why the Phil Collins.

  • It's worth pointing out that almost nobody really steps it up in the clutch. From 03' through 09', out of the 14 players that made at least 10 game winners in that span, only 1 shot over .400 on their game winning attempts. (Carmelo Anthony 13-27) But Kobe does have the worst game winning shooting percentage of any player with more than 6 over that span, as well as the most misses. (14-56) He is shooting harder shots than most, but that's not an excuse. He needs to distribute more in the clutch.

  • kobe dick suckers gettin mad...LOL

  • This video deserves a medal

  • you just a fuckng kobe hater. Jordan missed lot of game winners and lebron has never made a game winner unlike kobe. Kobe made 7 game winners last season.

  • Half of these someone else made a put back. You're just one of the assholes that look at his missed shots when there was great defense on him.

  • How many game winners you ever hit?? Even if you had the chance you wouldn't take it because you don't have the heart!

  • Kobey Stans are so Delusional that they would call 1:58 a Pass to Shaq XD

  • that was an amazing not :D

  • Kobe's clutch shots have gotten him 5 rings. and there is nothing you can say about that, i don't give a damn if you say Shaq got him the first 3 or not cause Shaq would never had won it without Kobe. now why is there a video on Kobe missing shots but no videos of LeBron choking in the 4th quarter? hmm i wonder.

  • LOL at the song :D

  • kobe first became known as clutch when he went out in the 2000 finals and won it in game 4 to take a 3-1 for the lakers when shaw got fouled out. LLebron is 27 , and he still hasn't won a ring, and he only scored 8 points in a whole finals game and 10 points in the both fourth quartes of game 4 and 5 this year. so stfu.

  • It's funny to me, you have no life lol, you spend your time to make a video about kobe, everyone misses clutch shots magic johnson is called clutch cause of his one famous shot against the boston celtics, michael jordan missed some clutch shots, so has tim duncan. The list goes on, but its funny how you don't mention the shots kobe has made, need i remind you of the 7 gamewinners he made in the 09-10 season, kobe is indeed very cllutch, And he's obviously more clutch then lebron,

  • @xKmasterAtVideosx

Kobe is NOT clutch. Leave it at that, unless you want me to throw some hardcore FACTS your way destroying the myth that Kobe is a great clutch player.

  • All you bitches on this video can suck on his five rings.

  • you can say anything you want about Kobe or the Lakers. u can call em monkey lickers for all I care. You can hate all you want, at the end of the day all that matters is FIVE titles in the last decade

  • why are ppl mentioning lbj when he's not in the video? so funny how lakers fans took this like an offense to their family or something. relax, kobe's not as good as you think he is.

  • @moewwe54 you are the greatest dumbass of sports arguments to date, kobes not as good as you think? dumb shit he hit a hell of of alot more game winners than lebron ever will, he's not clutch... HE HAS 5 RINGS IDIOT, an during those seasons hit hit game winners, FOR CHRIST SAKE the man played against nba's greatest of the new generation and shitted on them, need i remind you of o3- 04 season where kobe scored 37 in the half to bring the lakers back against t-,mac at his best??? you sound foolish

  • @Fenombeatz HAHAHAHA oh my, you sound like you need to take Kobe's dick out of your ass and realize that HE ISN'T AS GOOD AS YOU THINK HE IS.

  • @moewwe54 sounds like you have no facts, i rest my case

  • @Fenombeatz Missed last 5 game winning shot in playoffs, record 7/25 or 28% in playoffs. Lebron James is 5/12 or 41.7% in playoffs, 2 away from Kobe while younger and play least playoffs game. Shocking isn't it, hopefully you get over it soon. By the way MJ got first ring When he was 28, Lebron 27 now! Feel free to reply:D

  • @TheLucifer69 ..................lmfao are you seriosly trying to tell me, lebron james is more clutch than kobe bryant, get a grip on reality, but all seriousness i respect that you have at least some facts but lets be real, ONLY JORDAN AND A FEW FURTHER BACK WERE TRULY CLUTCH, this new generation is lax with talent is kobe is the closest to #23 and no one can argue that

  • @Fenombeatz We're talking about GW and clutch here. Kobe's close to MJ i know. But when it come to GW stats show Lebron's is closer and better than Kobe. Did you lose you're point!?

  • @TheLucifer69 maybe you can't read because every sentence stated in my recent paragraph was related to game winners, and no i did not, 5 rings compared to none explains clutch enough, and simple minded sir, clutch is not just game winners, kobe has brought lakers back from too many impossible deficits to call him "not clutch" or n"not as good as you think"...lerbon HAS...NO.... RINGS...maybe HE'S not as good as you think my friend

  • @Fenombeatz I say Kobe not good at making game winning shot, agree? Again why keep bringing Rings here we talk about MAKING GAME WINNING SHOT, I clearly said :"But when it come to GW stats show Lebron's is closer and better than Kobe". Bill Russell has more rings than Regie Miller do you think he better MAKING GAME WINNING SHOT .Shaq, Gasol, Artest, Fisher save Lakers. According to you MJ at age 27 record 4/6 GW not as good as Bill Rusell MAKING GAME WINNING SHOT.

  • @TheLucifer69 5....rings...lmfAO ..there...is ....no...argument...

  • @Fenombeatz I supposed Rodman as good as Kobe, Russell way more clutch and Regie Miller no clutch!? There no thing to do with rings here rings is team achievement, by the way Artest, Gasol, Fisher made last 3 Lakers playoffs game winning shot Kobe missed last 5. Hopefully they made it, if not how many rings Kobe has now.

  • @TheLucifer69 Bill Russell would just stuff the ball down the Celtics opponents throat when they attempted a game winning shot against the Celtics.Blocking a game winning shot attempt is just as big as trying to hit one.

That's why the NBA has the

Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award

  • @TheLucifer69 and it would only make sense that lebron would be left with a higher percentage of game winning buckets if h'es had to take more the two time less shots than kobe

  • @Fenombeatz Kobe 2/12 = 0,16% from first 12 GW attempt. I Have my proof to prove what your. If that's not Kobe & Lebron just player A & B who you think better clutch? When Lebron take the same amount of shot as Kobe Who you think have more GW? It's all about what you think about THE STATS.

  • i'm a kings fan and and equally a laker hater, so initially this made me chuckle. but you can't honestly feel this way when he's hit so many clutch shots, watch the video of his made shots it is a lot longer than this. don't disrespect an all time great.

  • So wait you telling me Kobe aint clutch? Not a "closer", hope you fucks realize "closer" doesn't JUST mean game winners, it could be a shot at the 2 min mark, 4 min mark a "big" shot... Watch 4 last mins of most games with the lakers, THEN tell me he aint a "closer" he's a "closer" cause he either gets that game winner or closes them out before it needs to get there perhaps play good D w/e it is he'll find ways to close games, not always... but no one can ALWAYS do it.

  • Now why don't you show me how many clutch shots Lebron has made, and once you realize YOU'RE A FUCKING DUMB FUCK, delete your youtube account and never post a video again. You act like everyone makes a shot at the buzzer rofl, atleast Kobe doesn't pass to bench players to shoot rather than take a wide open 3 like LeSCARED did vs OKC.

  • This vido create is a fucking retard. He made a video saying " Kobe quits on his team" arguing that in 2006 vs phoenix, he quit taking shots and passed all of the 2nd half. But when he tries to take shots now he's ruining his team. This guy is clearly a Kobe Bryant hater who has notthing else to do than hate on a successful nigga with a SEXY SPANISH BITCH in his house, 5 RINGS SITTIN ON HIS DICK, and making more money than any other NBA player .

  • and i just noticed this guy also made the "kobe bryant quits on his team" video. look, i'm not going to sit here and defend kobe on that. he let everyone down. i'm not going to sit here and tell you that it is definitely frustrating when you single-handedly bring a series to 3-1 just to have your team stop all production and allow a comeback because that shouldn't have been an excuse. but you have to admit, he's certainly made up for it.

  • i'm pretty sure "closing" a game means a lot more than hitting a buzzer beater during the last seconds of the game. actually, i'm 100% sure.

if yall are so doubtful of kobe's closing skills, just look at game 7 of the 2009-2010 series. he had a pretty awful game that night, but him stepping up in the 4th quarter secured the win for his team (along with a clutch three by ron artest and gasol going ham practically the whole game). rings don't lie.

  • @Persianking

LMMFAO!!! If you're going to try and make an argument for Kobe being "clutch"(he isn't), then that RIGGED game 7 of the 2010 NBA FInals is the LAST game you should cite to support your case.

  • @TheJesseGladSaget how was the game 7 finals rigged?

  • @TheEri4life

Did you not watch the 4th Quarter??

Watch this if you don't believe me: /watch?v=tJnXxQlPC48

  • Such an overrated closer....

  • @randomaznpopper 19 game winners my friend (most in nba). Jordan has missed so many as well. ever bother to try watching those?

  • @Redskinsfan1712 MerkinMuffly has infact compiled a list of Jordan's game winning shots and game winning nots, he stands at exactly 50% in that category. And at least Mike could pass the ball in the clutch unlike your boy Kobe. A perfect example is last night against the Bulls tries to take on a triple almost quadruple team. Also i did abit of research apparently Kobe is 7-25 in the clutch where the hell did you pull 19 from?

  • @randomaznpopper 7-25? are you retarted??. Hes had 5 game winners in a season like 2 years ago. how the hell is he 7-25? Yeah i got the 19 from that same game where he struggled against the bulls. But its okay him and jordan miss. But in the end of the day they will be the greatest to ever play the game.

  • @Redskinsfan1712 @Redskinsfan1712 Yes i'm "retarted" anyway i forgot to mention it's 7/25 in playoff clutch performances which in percentage is 28%. That's pretty terrible coming from the guy that's been labeled as the premier clutch player of this era, come the fuck on. Too close 50%>28% by quite a margin.

  • it's funny that in his 2006 playoffs video, MerkinMuffy shows Kobe to be a quitter by him not taking tons of shots and passing all the time. Now, Kobe shoots too much. You can't have it both ways.

  • you can't hit every shot i think the fact that he continues to shoot these shots says a lot about his mental strength. and sure he may not be the best shooter percentage wise but you can;t say he is overrated when he has been dominating the league. everyone misses but not everyone accomplishes what he has.

  • what is the point of this video showing that kobe missed game winning shots? everyone misses game winning shots, kobe, allen, jordan. lebron. dwade, rose eveyone.

  • HEY EVERYONE lets not blame kobe for not passing in the clutch his "A" button is defective;)

  • michael jordan never airballed game winners im sorry. fuck all the kobe dicksucking jordan hating faggots.

  • he is still more clutch than any of you. i bet if any of you were in the clutch and you missed you would just stop shooting them. Kobe at least keeps shooting

  • @jdkidd23 so the game on the line, 41 games left in the season that will determine if you do or die in the road to playoffs, and everygame would be decided then by about one or two points, would you rather have a player win you 1-39 jacking up low percentage downtown shots or would you rather have a smarter play that will guarantee you victories in the long run?

  • No one's made more either

  • @Dunkmaster3333 ... he should.... 30% of his hundred or so hes thrown up ... this video makes point on other players quality over kobes quantity

  • come on, man. you can make anyone look bad with all misses + airballs, but he's prety clutch if he has the right mindset and is confident in his abilities. hes mentally strong and nobodys perfect. lebron is also clutch when he has the right mindset and is confident, but i'd still take kobe over lebron for the last shot because kobe is in the zone the majority of the time than lebron is. if they were equal mentally strong, i'd take lebron because of his atheltisism.

  • if kobe's not clutch i dont know who is

  • @superman1113215 carmelo and dirk

  • @splashty09 i dont remember either of them knocking down 7 game winners in a single season

  • @superman1113215 but talking bout game winners carmelo is on his way to destroying kobe in this category he shoots a better percentage and has 47.7 % on them and dirk 39 % while kobe has made many he has attempted the absolute most and shoots 31% on game winning attempts just over the league average. hes hit bnig shots but melo has played half the seasons and at this rate would surpass kobe and dominate him percentage wise as for dirk he has made 29 gw and shot 40 %

  • @splashty09 lol by game winner i mean right before the buzzer not random shots in the 4th, and yes carmelo has a higher percentage, but kobe takes the most late shots and gets triple teamed on almost all of them and dont tell me he can pass to a teammate because he's the only 3 pt shooter on the team that can rise over a defender and knock shots down, plus i guess all the nba legends that called him the most clutch player in the league are wrong

  • @superman1113215 well thats the worst argument ive ever herd because if hes triple teamed someone is obviously open he should pass the ball. The problem is evvery defense knows who to guard on the lakers, so what if all the players said it its all media hype because nobody shows the misses. also they lakers have been shown to be MINUS when bryant is in the game in the last 5 minutes because of his shot jacking. thats not good in the clutch to me

  • @superman1113215 another thing is to consider kobe clutch hed show up in ALL THE BIG GAMESRITE??? kobe has had 2 finals averages of 36% and 38 % also hes had other performances averaging in the finals 40%, 43%, 40%, 41% the reason people dont remmber this is because his team was able pull him through and win the game. clutch to me is making the right decsions down the line and i havent seen it from kobe as i have seen it from others

  • @superman1113215 also cp3 and dwill are among others who arre more clutch cp3 shoots 45% on gws and dwill around 39% and only playing 6 seasons and both making 14 game winners being on their way to around equaling kobes game winners but with an amazing more amount of efficiency. kobe has been big shots but the media has made him out to be more clutch than he really is.

  • this is a joke!

  • you guys are insane trying to make an argument that kobe is not clutch. he is without question the most clutch player in the NBA today. i'm saying that objectively. you don't need to be a kobe/laker fan to say that.

  • Kobrick Cryant ..... LOL.

  • Tell me , who is more clutch then Kobe Bryant ? except Michael Jordan ? please tell me , Lebron ? not even close ( scared to shoot in the clutch) , Wade ? good player , but not clutch , Nowitzki ? Clutch , but not as Kobe . I mean Kobe isn't afraid to take big shots , and ofcourse he'll miss sometimes , but at least he tried ! He made more then 20 game winners in his life , I mean someone like Lebron is scared in clutch moments , so how can he be the greatest player ? anyone ?

  • being clutch is not just game winners....

  • can anyone tell me the name of the song in the background?

  • all you guys are..are a hating bunch of idoits.enough said

  • Comment removed

  • "Kobe with the gamewi----, dont worry just an airball....."

  • Live by the Kobe, Die by the Kobe. Kiss the ring(s) bitches.

  • @JamesistheTRUTH rings courtesy of Shaq and Pau

  • @pingtv who did it by their self........i didn't think so

  • Man...this is great stuff right here.

All you Kobe-homer can pissed off all you want , but you just cant denied this...Kobe Byrant is overrated with his clutch shooting

  • These are the hardest game winning shots ever! Not even the greatest shooters or Jordan would've made these. Jordan would've maybe hit the lay up but that's it. At 1:00, I wouldn't mind Kobe taking that shot. Really, would you want Lamar Odom or Brian Cook (who's that) to take the final shot? Heck no! Dumb hating vid.

  • @timboa101

You're missing the point, you moron; how many times did you see in this video, Kobe taking a HORRIBLE contested jumper when he could have used his superior slashing skills to get an easier shot?

EXACTLY! Kobe has screwed himself time-and-time again in his career by possessing the mentality that "shooting the more spectacular shot is better than getting an easy shot". You're just another blind Kobe fanboy.

    'Tis a shame...

  • @jessegladsaget

I said that because I looked at the situation for each attempt. Each shot would have Kobe with 1-5 sec to drive in with "superior slashing skills" from around 30 feet from the basket and it's not like he can drive whenever he wants; the defender plays tighter or a double team was sent. And Kobe isn't exactly fast anymore. How could he just drive easily on Westbrook, Wade, or other defenders quicker than him? Most of these shots were also catch and shoot situations...

  • @timboa101 you're an idiot kiddo.

  • LMAO this video is a joke. u claim all these stats yet your video is Kobe when he was #8. i thought this would be interesting and highlights of him from 08 and up, whatta joke. stop hating on champions, period.

  • Dont you just love haters. It just makes kobe more superior you know you are good when you have haters. Keep'em coming its not gonna change the fact that he has a mansion with five rings and a hot bitch

  • at the end of the story kobe bryant is still one of the most celebrated and awarded players in the nba

  • As this video shows, many of Kobe's teammates (or former teammates) are more than capable of scoring in the clutch if given the right opportunity. The problem is, most of their opportunities come off of Kobe's misses rather than his passes. The defense already knows that he's not gonna give up the ball 95% of the time. Hence, the low percentage looks. Shooting isn't the only definition of a clutch play. Which is why many players, past and present, are able to get better looks in the clutch.

  • @jp3813 how can you say kobe isn't clutch, he's the most clutch player in NBA. Do you really think Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, or any Laker can make a game winning shot over kobe bryant. I admit he doesn't pass the ball much, but you can't say he isn't clutch.

  • @Jaballer1 When did I say he "isn't clutch"? I simply explained why he doesn't get better looks in the clutch as other players. Have you forgotten Fisher's famous 0.4 seconds shot? Robert Horry also has famous clutch shots as a Laker. And this video just showed you many instances where Kobe's teammates bail him out.

  • ive seen kobe give up the ball in crunch time and his team mates miss wide open shots. sometimes i wonder the lakers would just be better off if he took all the cluch shots.lol.

anyone who calls kobe an overrated clutch player is simply a hater, ok you can show me 4:27 of kobe missed shots....i could compile hours and hours of kobe clutch shots!

There is no doubt Kobe is one of the greatest clutch players of all time.

PS - The definition of when is a shot "clutch" is very debatable.

  • ray allen would have to be one of, if not the best best closers ever wouldnt he?

  • I think the meaning of being clutch is over used. Yeah Kobe puts up some wild shots, but the ones that he does make are tremendous. I'm not a Kobe fan, I never will be. But there is a difference between being clutch and being well defended.

  • Comment removed

  • lol so many misses that lead to game winners

  • I agree with most of what ppl say about Kobe in the clutch. but the fact is, time remaining is a huge factor, and although he does at the most take stupid shots, he has no choice but to throw up a shot. Most of the time tho yea he doesn't even look like he tries to look for a good shot. Example is Derek Fisher's lay-up winner against the Clippers, if he can get to the basket and take a high percentage shot like that with 2 seconds left, then what's stopping Kobe?

  • yeah i heard two writers on espn agree Kobe was the most clutch player then 5 mins later came on youtube and saw a segment where they were debating Derrick Rose or Michael Jordan LMAO, ESPN is retarded if kobe is the most clutch player of all time then Ryan Leaf is the GOAT of football.

  • if kobes not clutch who is you fucken bum

  • you guys are fu(kin MORONS...you don't knock a guy for having the BALLS to take gws...at least he wants the damn ball in crunchtime!

screw statgeeks! gw% is a worthless retarded stat....dumbasses

  • 9-24 from the floor. A typical Kobe Bryant night.

  • @NBAGOATS well, seeing as his average FG% is about 45%, and 9/24 is 37.5%. You need to learn math.

  • The footage of lakers vs bucks at 2:30, Kobe made the buzzer beater in OT.

  • @tcalgetswrck yep. kobe made the same shot in overtime at the buzzer in the very same spot to win the game.

  • His teammates consistently bail him out. And if they don't manage to do that... he usually just shoots the Lakers out of games. Like you said, he's only made around 30% of his clutch shots and has missed the past 5 game winners he's taken in the playoffs. Where was Mr. Clutch when he got swept by the Mavericks? Just watch. After he runs Gasol out of town and Bynum gets traded the truth will be exposed. But the media won't show you this because Kobe is the golden boy.

  • @MerkinMuffly u are such a dumb ass in all this highlights of kobe missing are all of the people doudle teaming him and he doesn't have time to work with a shot it seems all of them have 3.2 secounds on the clock and when u see kobe has 8 secounds on the clock he has 51.3% in [''crunch time.''] BITCH**

  • @DcoopsMySon derrick rose only HAS BEN IN THE LEGUE FOR 2 AND HALF YEARS

  • thumbs up if u have more rings than lebron

  • @DerrickRose241 really? drose doesnt have rings either

  • he has 5 rings to have that many you somehow are clutch so he is not as good as jordan or bird in clutch but cmon he is not overrated

  • also i visit you page you celtics fan that just hate the lakers lol..

  • you fail to realize that about 85% of kobe game winners attempts makes and misses are jump shots at time double team and triple team while trying to make difficult shots and still at the end of the day all coaches and nba analyst rather the be in kobe hands... nobody going to remember a layup game winner(only if game 7 finals) people will remember difficult game winning shots though they're not going remember difficult game winning miss shot because the chance of that person making it is slim.

  • alright fuck your video and fuck u mainly because first of all you try making all these shots with atleas 2 people in your face and and everything so before u say anything else dont try to bring lebron into this or anybody else because its his fucking bum ass team mates who do this to kobe they force him on the last seconds. look at 06 when he was playing phoenix. and like i was saying before his team mates give it to him on the last second. why? because they know he has a betterchanceofmakingit

  • this is a true hater

  • @twentyfot ...hater?....lmaoo....sorry....but the footage doesnt lie.....these misses exist....

kobe=sidekick for life.......always sidekicking to dominant bigs who carry his sidekick self

  • @shaqpopcorn34 never a sidekick cuz if he was he wouldnt have won the last 2 nba championships

  • @twentyfot .....kobe has sidekicked to all 5 rings......

thats why he shot 6-24 in game 7 of the nba finals last yr and his team still won.....they carried his pathetic sidekick self

kobe=sidekick for life......in 3 yrs without shaq or gasol, the sidekick failed to win a round

  • @shaqpopcorn34 dude stfu with your dumbass kobe is by far better than pau kobe has more rings than pau better leader and had MUCH better stats than pau in 09 and 10 he CARRIED them to the 09 championship and 10 shaq led kobe no dought but kobe led la to 2 so stfu hater bitch

  • @shaqpopcorn34 lebron=wades sidkick shaq needs to retire lmao. hater

  • @shaqpopcorn34 So your telling me that he sucks because he's always had a good player on his team when he won well number one is there is no I n team 2 is that he's the one who got them there cuz I didnt see shaq winning no championship wit orlando 3 they both were needed equally on the team 4 the last two was definitely because of him 5 no one's perfect u hater even micheal jordan had some game winning nots

  • But does that ESPN article take into consideration clutch free throws at the ends of games? What about clutch assists? Sometimes a pass to an open man who makes the open game-winning shot is just as good (see Jordan at the end of 2 Finals wins).

  • Same with Jordan- the shot in the '82 NCAA title game... "The Shot" over Ehlo vs Cleveland... the shot vs the Jazz in the '98 Finals... I'm sure there were many more, just like I'm sure he missed a ton of last-minute ones as well. But for some reason, we are geared to only remember the ones that go in. Blame the media, because they live for those grand moments. And they force them down our throats via highlight films forever after. Remember when Tom Brady was CLUTCH? I almost DON'T!

  • The key is to be "clutch" in the BIG games- that way, the media will run with it and it will become a part of sports lore forever. This is exactly why Joe Montana is considered to be the greatest clutch player in NFL history. Whether it's actually true or not is beside the point. "Clutch" is like a nickname- once you get the rep, it stays with you forever. Never mind the fact that Montana went 3 straight seasons going one-n-done in the playoffs with 0 TD passes including getting benched.

  • "Clutch" is pretty easy to define, but it tends to become the stuff of reputation and hype more than anything of actual substance. Michael Jordan was always considered to be huge in the clutch, but I have no idea if that's really the case. With Kobe, it's absolutely because he has heaved up SO many game-ending shots. 36 of 115. But it's those 36 that DID go in that is the reason for his "clutch" reputation. EVERY time he makes a GW-buzzer-beater, that rep will continue to grow.

  • THIS IS BULLSHIT but I will say this much I'm not gonna disagree with your facts or how long it took you to dig up this much footage on one man but I will tell you this one of the biggest reasons kobe does have much more game winning shot attempts than any other player is because HES BEEN IN THE LEAGUE LONGER & WAS SIGNED AT 17 YEARS OF AGE..so of course hes gonna take more shots will he make them all? HELL NO.NO ONE CAN.in his younger years he made mistakes but to make 36!! says a whole LOT!

  • Isn't there something to be said for all the 5 or 8 min youtube clips of Kobe Game Winners?? How is he overrated? Name 5 Players you want taking the last shot other than Kobe. He's DEFINITELY TOP 5 ALL TIME

  • @ThaBlackKid11 Kobe top 5 all time in clutch? Kobe is #25 among active players alone lol. Carmelo is way higher on the clutch list than Kobe is.

  • @ThaBlackKid11 ....lmaoooo....check the facts...

google "kobe and the clutch performance myth"....

learn the facts about kobe....the sidekick for life

  • Jus Curious, what do you define as clutch?

  • hes ALMOST as clutch as lebron in this vid :/

  • Comment removed

  • being clutch means doing the smart play at the right time and pass it to the right guy to shoot, not always taking the shoots that waste a valuable possession. This guy should be smarter of pasing it to more wide open guys than being doubled team and take a stupid shot costing the game to your team, I respect Kobe what I dont like is his shot selection and the kobetards talking about him like he is perfect and doesnt miss a single shot

  • @ALB2010 He's 36 of 115 on game winners, so take your pick of air balls he's thrown up on game winners.

  • @MerkinMuffly all Im sayin is that a good portion of these shots are extremely tough shots that have no chance of going in,now whether or not he should have passed in those situations is another story but to say he's not clutch for missing those kind of shots is a little unfair

  • @ALB2010 Nope absolutely fair, nobody told him to take that shot but he decided to. I bet if he would have made it people would have been like aw sh*t kobe is too clutch. I personally dislike kobe because of what he did to shaq and my lakers but I do understand he is a very good player. I simply just wouldnt go so far as saying he is the best player, the most clutch player, or even a smart player.

  • @Senoryumyum thats true,Im not tryin to say that he a great clutch player but to call him UNCLUTCH for missing those shots is unfair, when Kobe takes good shots in crunch time he shoots a pretty good FG%,while he may be overrated in the clutch he is still probaly the most clutch player in the game today or at least top3,and while Kobe played a big part in Shaq leavin and everything else not all of it was his fault, that team was disfunctional

  • @ALB2010 melo, lebron, dirk, dwade, shawn marion. I just named 5 players who are more clutch than kobe....kobe is highly overrated on defense and clutch performing. Kobe has no defense and is the worst clutch shooter of all time. Theres a difference between kobe haters and people who know the game of baskeball, sorry we dont kobe we just know hes overrated.

  • @kaYboi8o8 Melo ok,DWade ok,Dirk maybe but Shawn Marion and especially Lebron are not more clutch than Kobe,Lebron is not even top 10 clutch players in the league, and Kobe isnt a great defender now since he's lost a step but in his prime he was a great defender, and if you say Kobe is overrated in the clutch I can understand why you would think that and I would say thats someone who maybe knows the game but saying "Kobe has no D and is the worst clutch shooter of all time" qualifies as "hating"

  • @ALB2010 First of all, kobe isnt in the top 10 clutch either, but Lebron is ahead of Kobe in clutch performance so is shawn marion. I bet you thought kobe was #5 or something in clutch lol...Kobe is actually #25 in clutch among ACTIVE players...LEBRON is #21 in clutch situations among active players, while melo is #1 in the clutch among actives. Its a documented fact that kobe is one of the worst clutch shooters...36-115 IS HORRIBLE! Thats 31% to be exact. Melo is 49% in clutch, you get it?

  • @kaYboi8o8 fg% is due partly to shots you take,Kobe has a tendency to take horrible shots in crunchtime, especially between 04-07 when he didnt believe in his teamates,he would jack up a 30 footer while being double teamed instead of giving it up to a open teamate, doesnt matter what stats say,you cannot watch both Lebron and Kobe play and say Lebron is more clutch at all

  • @ALB2010 kobe is 36-115 game winners...that is seriously beyond pathetic. MJ was 34-56 in game winners, how the hell did kobe jack up almost twice as much as mj but could only land 2 more game winners than him?. Kobe still doesnt believe in his teamates, thats why he still takes the most shots and misses most of them

  • @kaYboi8o8 your right,he didnt believe in his teamates...the only point Im tryin to make is that it doesnt make him unclutch, besides since the start of the 07-08 season he's only takin like 22 and made 11 so he's trusting his team more and not jacking up so many shots

  • @kaYboi8o8 that all lies again.come on shawn marion, dude you really don't know the game of basketball.the only thing you know is how to hate on kobe.the 5 dudes you just name wish they were clutch as kobe.ain't no such thing as worst clutch shooter of all time.you are a compulsive lier.all this bullshit you bring up ain't gonna keep him out the hall of fame.live with the fact he's one of the best ever.you must love kobe, cause you on all of his pages.

  • @arthurfrancis82 shawn marion is ahead of kobe in clutch situations, i can name 20 other players who you probably didnt know are ahead of kobe in clutch situations...nobody wishes to be like kobe in the clutch, his clutch performances are flat out terrible. The facts dont lie, kobe is #25 in game winners among active players...Shawn Marion is in the top 10 lolololololololol. You are a fucking idiot to think im bullshitting, look it up.

  • @arthurfrancis82 Do yourself a favor, go to my page and watch my featured video...educate yourself on kobes unbelievable overrated career. Let me know when you're able to swallow your pride and watch the video

  • @arthurfrancis82 i wouldnt say kobe is the worst but he definitely is overrated when it comes to clutch.

  • @ALB2010 dude you're retarded, 0:49 is an iso play, kobe is one on one with a defender. guy comes to help late, didn't effect the shot at all, MJ makes that all day. he made that exact shot, but harder, in the 2003 all-star game when he was two weeks away from being 40 to take the lead by 2 in overtime. kobe was then idiotically fouled while shooting a three, and of course missed one of the 3 free throws to send the game into another OT instead of winning.

  • @williewilliams99 just because MJ made it once doesnt mean he can make it "all day" look at Kobe's gw against the Heat last year, theres no way in hell he'll make a gw like that again sometimes great players make shots like that so no MJ wouldnt make a turnaround 3 with time running out all day and even if he could when the hell did I ever say Kobe was as good as MJ so bringing him up is pointless

  • @williewilliams99 and btw when I was talkin about him missin a 30 footer while being double teamed I wasnt talking about 0:49 in particular

  • @ALB2010 your words...

"0:49 are you kidding me?name 3 nba players who can make THAT SHOT on a consistent basis"

i was comparing the fact that MJ made that shot in the exact same situation, when he was 40, that's why i brought him up. but for the record, Kobe couldn't hold MJ's jock strap.

  • @williewilliams99 if MJ takes that shot 10 times at best he's makin it two maybe three times...thats NOT a consistent basis which is the point Im trying to make

  • @ALB2010 if you're talking about the shots bryant takes throughout this video, you're right, they aren't going to be made on a consistent basis. 0:49 MJ is going to score 7 or 8 times out of 10. the shots that kobe takes in this video are difficult, but it's his fault. he makes poor decisions and is selfish at the end, he rushes a lot of shots, taking difficult, borderline unmakable shots with time left on the clock when he could pass it or at least make a move to create space.

  • The truth about Kobe: As of 01/28th/ 2011, He's 36 of 115 taking shots in the clutch. A whopping 31.3%, a mediocre clutch shooter at best. Look up: "The truth about Kobe Bryant in crunch time" on ESPN, it exposes the myth of Kobe being a crunch time player. He sucks, there are much better clutch players than him, like Carmelo Anthony: 21 of 44, 47.7% clutch shooter.

  • @MerkinMuffly What is your definition of clutch? A high field goal percentage? A consistant shot selection that proposes the best chance for the point? I honestly do not think numbers tell the whole truth. If given the scenerio, let players like Melo and other clutch players like Reggie, Vince be in the same situation as Kobe was in. Would they have been more successful? You can only find out the truth if you look on the otherside of things.

  • @MerkinMuffly I think he's 36 of 117 now officially....as Phil Collins said, I think he missed again lol.

  • @MerkinMuffly Kobe is as good as MJ in the clutch-Phil Jackson,The best clutch shooter in todays game I would have to go with Kobe Jelly Bean Bryant -Tracy McGrady, J.A. Adande, ESPN.com: “For a "must-score" possession I'd take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James or any current or historical NBA great. Yes, even the Managing Member of Basketball Operations for the Charlotte Bobcats." Don't take my word or other "typical fans words for it. So many times Kobe's teammates blew it.

    ,

  • @KobeConfidence I'm not saying Kobe is > Mj or anything but he's WAY BETTER than mediocre clutchness. any1 would miss these shots because they were just tough scenerio's and there were only a couple that were even realistic of making it. Plus these are last second shots not overall clutchness.

  • So you just put together a video of kobe missing a couple shots and you call him the worst clutch player in the NBA? Ok...

  • It's a lot of pressure on people to have the ball in their hands to take that last shot , I give him props even though i hate the guy its takes guts

  • It's a lot of pressure on people to have the ball in their hands to take that last shot , I give him props even though i hate the guy its takes guts

  • Good video. About time showed the misses. Kobe is the most overrated clutch player in the history of the NBA. Kobetards that continually try to compare him to Jordan (biggest joke comparison ever, Kobe isn't even remotely close to Jordan) are an embarassment to the NBA and the Laker fanbase. Kobe is not in the top10 in greatest players of all time and hasn't even been the best player in the NBA for the past 6 years that title belongs to Dwyane Wade or Lebron James.
