Everytime I run into the woman who was involved with me like this, she melts. If she's with another guy, she ignores the other guy and expresses her true feelings for me. If she's without a guy the exchange of words begin, like a contest. She can never put how she feels into words:)

Leia also voiced her opinion more than he would; she was the first one to say ILY and he only responded, "I know." I enjoy Han/Leia's relationship but would never describe it the way you did. Your description seems sad. It's sad when potential couples resort to contests and games. And I'd hope if a woman is with someone else, she wouldn't ignore him for someone as arrogant as you describe.

@chel325 This was the probably the only woman who did this around me. There's no way that I'm full of myself. I saw her with 4 different men, 4 of the same results with the same woman. 3 of the men wanted to fight me. The last one was smarter and just left with her and won I believe. She fought me for yrs because she was ready to possibly settle down with me and start dating me her friend said (I found this out after I told her I had a gf.) She was crushed, nearly crying and angry.

I liked the Han/Leia love story ever since Empire Strikes Back. I even liked their storyline more than Luke's. But I am a sucker for romance. lol There used to be only 3 years between each sequel. As a Star Wars fanatic, I knew that from the start so it didn't bother me. But there was too much time before the 2nd trilogy, which I didn't enjoy much.
My favorite is Vaders is the first series, his tale of redemption and love for his son. I like Phantom menace, Attack seemed phoney. and sith im kinda neutral on. But the 2nd trilogy always seemed..rushed in the story telling it wasnt paced well. surprisingly enough I too like a good romance story.
I did like how Vader sacrificed himself to save his son in Return of the Jedi. That was my least favorite film in the trilogy. I got sick of the Ewoks and I'm still not a huge fan of films with a lot of CG. I disliked all films in the 2nd trilogy equally, probably because of that. IA the films seemed rushed. Originally I read there would be 9 films (3 trilogies); each film would be released every 3 years. Maybe the films were rushed just to fulfill that. BTW a third trilogy is no longer planned.
I agree, but I enjoyed phantom menace, mostly Qui gon the character was good. Well I think its surprising if you knew me. Im not really the typical romance movies kinda guy. but this and princess bride struck a cord with me. and when I was kid Ewoks were great, I can bear them now. but man do i hate jar jar. ok enough of this, your a star wars nerd marry me jkin lol.

I prefer the Han/Leia romance and the original trilogy, too. The acting in the newer trilogy didn't bother me; it was all the computer-generated characters, especially Jar Jar Binks.

I made this mvid as a contest entry, and one rule was to use any music from Star Wars, so I chose Princess Leia's theme. Originally I wanted to use the Han/Leia theme, but the version I have merges into the Darth Vader theme. Sorry. Probably too much info than you wanted. lol
I have heard a concert version of "Han Solo and the Princess" which does not segue into the Darth Vader theme (as in ESB where after they kiss and C3PO interrupts, the scene goes to Vader's ship).
This version is in a CD of "music from Harrison Ford movies." Unfortunately, I cannot find it anymore. :(
Also, people who think that ANH didn't feature any foreboding of the H/L romance should note their exciting first encounter (in the midst of battle) where the sparks did fly. I think Han fell in love with Leia when she blasted the way to the garbage chute (at 00:49 here) and Leia started feeling the same way when he ran after the stormtroopers by himself (1:06). There's also the hug at the garbage chute. And you did show these classic scenes! Ah, romance... STAR WARS rules!
I saw the sparks ever since they first met, too. My sister kept thinking she saw them between Leia and Luke, and because my sister is older, of course, {add sarcasm}she was right.{end sarcasm} I had this Cheshire cat-like grin on my face as we sat through ESB.

I bought a video capture device, Dazzle Digital Video Creator 90. There are several video capture devices on the market, but I bought the cheapest one, just something to play around with while I learned. The quality of my clips sometimes isn't as great as clips captured using other devices, so you may want to research them before buying one.

I know what you mean. I so wanted to use Han & Leia's theme for this video, but the version I have segues into the Darth Vader theme. I had to settle for using Princess Leia's theme, which works really well, too. Thanks for your feedback.

I agree that the original trilogy is amazing, at least the main characters can act, unlike Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan!

I prefer the Han/Leia romance and the original trilogy, too. The acting in the newer trilogy didn't bother me; it was all the computer-generated characters, especially Jar Jar Binks.

I love the Han/Leia theme music but the Princess Leia music worked just as well.
I think that the original trilogy was so much better than the prequels but I don't know too many people that agree with me.

Nice idea to put in clips even from ANH and of course ROTJ. The Han/Leia romance is not only about their scenes together in ESB.
The Princess Leia theme is beautiful.

Thanks. I'm such a huge fan of the original trilogy that I just had to use clips from all 3 films. I made this mvid as a contest entry, and one rule was to use any music from Star Wars, so I chose Princess Leia's theme. Originally I wanted to use the Han/Leia theme, but the version I have merges into the Darth Vader theme. Sorry. Probably too much info than you wanted. lol

No, any piece of info is good.
I have heard a concert version of "Han Solo and the Princess" which does not segue into the Darth Vader theme (as in ESB where after they kiss and C3PO interrupts, the scene goes to Vader's ship).
This version is in a CD of "music from Harrison Ford movies." Unfortunately, I cannot find it anymore. :(
The theme is beautiful.

Btw, the original response in the script (and novelization and comic) was not "I love you too" but "Remember that, Leia, because I'll be back."
Harrison didn't like that line as he wasn't committed yet to the 3rd film. And it wasn't Han Soloish. "I know" is a classic.

Also, people who think that ANH didn't feature any foreboding of the H/L romance should note their exciting first encounter (in the midst of battle) where the sparks did fly. I think Han fell in love with Leia when she blasted the way to the garbage chute (at 00:49 here) and Leia started feeling the same way when he ran after the stormtroopers by himself (1:06). There's also the hug at the garbage chute. And you did show these classic scenes! Ah, romance... STAR WARS rules!

I saw the sparks ever since they first met, too. My sister kept thinking she saw them between Leia and Luke, and because my sister is older, of course, {add sarcasm}she was right.{end sarcasm} I had this Cheshire cat-like grin on my face as we sat through ESB.

This is great! And I love the song. 'Han Solo and the Princess' is one of my favorite Star Wars songs. Nice to know that there are still fans of the original Star Wars pairing.

I bought a video capture device, Dazzle Digital Video Creator 90. There are several video capture devices on the market, but I bought the cheapest one, just something to play around with while I learned. The quality of my clips sometimes isn't as great as clips captured using other devices, so you may want to research them before buying one.
