This is great..not to shabby!! you can guys substitute Bm fo Bm7..sounds literally, the same and f#m is the 2nd fret from the capo (3rd) fret..like Fmaj without the third string:) Hope this helps!

bar chords, first chord would be a D with a capo lol, or a C, any way its X89998, 355333, 688766, back to X89998, and then there is the A hes playing which is really, C just a different C hahaha! anyway thats X35553 Good luck your learning from another idiot, lol.

For those who don't want to spend money on a capo like me, just get a pen/pencil and 1 or 2 short rubberbands or hair peices. Put the pen or whatever on the fret you want and then look up how to do the rest caus i hate explaining crap. lol.

@scene120000 It actually works! I used a thick highlighter and 2 elastics and put it at the fret I needed. It buzzes a little but it works until you can afford a capo. My guitar teacher thought it was hilarious and he used it during a gig when he forgot his capo :)

Picked up the guitar about three weeks ago...was told it was in my blood and it would be easy! Yeah...nothing fun is easy! Anyway-Thank you! This video was so damn helpful! I can play 8 chords with some "harmony" however, picking, F and B chords are not my forte! @bblslovesmusic Of course you can play it without one of those clampy-things (capo)! You may just have to sing it in a different range. However, I suggest buying a capo just to have one. They're only $10-$20 and you'll use it a lot. Best of luck.

You're playing TOTALLY wrong chords in places. It simply doesn't capture the feel of the song.

I don't think this is helpful to beginners. It would be better to encourage them to work on complete songs that can be done with their current chord vocabulary... while learning more chords to expand their future range.

Also some explanation of a capo would help: show how a D chord shape with capo 3 is actually an F, for example.
