  • The previous record for mispronounced names and words in one shot was eighty-six billion, seventy-three million, nine-hundred forty six thousand one hundred and forty-two, but somehow this tard managed to break that record.

  • The REAL world record here is how many times an announcer can mispronounce the most different names and words in one shot.

  • wanjiri?

  • RIP Wanjiru......he would of been the marathon record holder.

  • Wanjiru is a TRUE HERO !!!!!!!!

    Rest in Peace,...

everybody knows Samuel would have won again in London in 2012, he was the half-marathon record holder... amazing competitor, he is missed immensely R.I.P. Sammy ( 1986-2011)!!!

  • he is not even sweating !!

  • RIP

  • amazing work rate !

  • W.A.N.J.I.R.U.....RIP

  • W.A.N.J.I.R.U....not Wanjery....

  • R.I.P.

  • He done dead.

  • wanjiru died today after jumping from his balcony RIP

  • @silentboyfilms he killed himself a while ago...

  • Geb can't win in a race that isn't setup as a time trial put him in a good field he crumbles Wanjru is the best racer

  • Hero Ethiopian kebede we proud of u! good begining....Go run for GOLD...

  • do the best go in the front? idk

  • criminal.

  • considering haile has better records for 5k 10k half and full marathon im pretty sure he is better

  • Big Pumkin Run - Supergirl Flies in

  • i hope he'll start at Berlin this year!

  • @Skatefreak2009 I am hoping he wins Boston I live their so I could watch him. I might run it though and would be a couple of hours behind.

  • to be successful u have to go through storms n storms come n GO bekele is the storm ...bt good news he will go ..we will remain the champs

  • kenya won all 8 gold medals in poland cross country.that prooves why kenya is the best.ethiopia is great too.but this days thier best runners are all beatable.nuff said.

  • Good luck Jawad

  • hey isn't that the runner won the 2008 summer olympics marathon

  • what are you talking about??? kenya is best in marathon.they got half marathon from sammy wanjiru when he was just 18 years.wanjiru is better than Heile in marathon.

  • Yes is Kenya is by far the best in the marathon. There are only a handful of sub 2:20 marathoners in the world who are not Kenyan. From Kenya, there are hundreds of sub 2:20 marathoners. Wanjiru is easily number 1 right now, Martin Lel number 2 when healthy. Geb is great, but he has not won against a stacked field yet.

  • @pavelkostov true

  • @pavelkostov Thats why he has world record. Your a dumass as well.

  • @pavelkostov I agree with you, Kenya is a great marathon running nation. But Geb has the world record for this distance, so I do believe that he is the best.

  • @pavelkostov There is a bunch of sub 2:20 marathoners that are not kenyan your just to stupid to realize it.

  • @pavelkostov how come kenyans dont run ultra marathons

  • True - but on an individual basis, Sammy has a bit of a reputation to develop. A lot of my running-mates consider Haile a legend.

  • @surambaya

I just like the way Sammy Wanjuri attacks the marathon distance.

When he won theOlympic title he was running the race like it was his last .

Martin Lel blew up at 24m and only Gharib had the strength to follow him and win Silver.

This is how Marathon running should be.

    Train then RACE THE DISTANCE

  • @mrembo87 he isn't close to Haile's record.

  • @mrembo87 If he was better then he would have the world record wouldnt he. You fucken dumass.

  • @467076 you can't even spell dumb ass right

  • @mrembo87 if wanjiru is better than Haile why he did not break the world record?

  • bekele will get kill in marathon, he might do good in half but not full marathon. his style of running suits track more than full marathon. tadese runs the same sytle like bekele. it is not going to be long before he starts to run marathon. wait and see.

  • Bekele in the marathon? That will be interesting, I don't think he has the incredible distance base of some of the other great distance runners like Geb or Wanjiru. He kills in track with that insane speed, we will see on the roads. What is certain is that Wanjiru is the greatest marathoner currently.

  • bekele is inconsistent, look at his track record, he gets injured and gets out of shape. marathon is going to destroy him. look at Tadese, he is good in track and half marathon but so far he sucks in full marathon

  • What the hell are you talking about? Bekele has been consistently the best runner in the world since 2003/2004... he hardly loses any races he enters. He's inconsistent, because of an injury? No, that's another point: he gets injured, yet still is able to come back as the best athlete in the world. He did that this year... rethink inconsistency mister.

  • Chaimoto. Bekele is indeed the most consistent athlete in history. I am saying this even though I am Kenyan!

  • When Bekele starts running marathons after London 2012, he will put Wanjiru's times to shame. Sub 2 hours, here we come.

  • Wanjiru v.s. Gebrselassie will be the race of the century. I can't wait for that!

  • @Carguello615 Agree.

  • @Carguello615 since today we can say it will be never happen....... :-((

  • @Carguello615 Only if Wanjiru didn't die, and Gebrselassie retire :/

  • bravo jawad rebbi m3ak a khoya .

  • Its great to see world class runners racing the distance and not like in previous years sprinting to the finishing line because three or four runners are along side you.

Its not really since the late 1980s with the great Welshman Steve Jones that class runners have really pushed the pace.

Its a real joy to see Sammy Wanjuri go out at a crazy pace and finish in a new course record

When did you last see a runner join the pace runners because he thought the pace was too slow

    Great Stuff

  • Daniel Komen during the 3k world record. Haha. Well obviously that's not as bold as joining the pace setters in the marathon but yeah.

  • vive moroccans : jaouad gharib , goumri , harroufi ... realy athlétisme and this race it's too fast ... (02:05)

  • what a crazy pace, the 10km pace was too fast i think, however the kenyans are no from this planet jeje, nice video

  • * first pointless comment
