  • great crunch! can u get EVH tone if u boost your JTM as well?

  • Worst mic job I've ever heard

  • than you so much for not using a delay pedal with this! too many amp demos are ruined by that shit

  • honestyly, I think it sounds terrible

  • At now I can't remember what the little link cable to the inputs is used for..

    Please som1 explain :) ty

  • @00DirectorsCut00 if you didnt find an answer its to jump the channel 1 into the channel 2 for more gain

  • @00DirectorsCut00 It's to combine channels 1 and 2.

  • I saw you jumped the channels, but which one did you plug into?

    Great crunch by the way.

  • @zstalin Thanks! Top left is where I plugged in.

  • @mrcali68 How do you put it in distortion?

  • 0:44 man that is such a cool poster

  • Superb video. I'm wrestling whether to order the JTM45 or the 50w Plexi. I already have a Bassman and love the tone. I love those Scumbacks! I'd get the very same speakers, except maybe an M55 instead of the H57. Thanks!

  • Thanks! I'm glad you like it! If you're planning on using a 2x12 I'd highly recommend the H75 /M75 Scumback combination.

  • Exactly what Jim at Scumback recommended: H75/M75.

Can you recommend the JTM45 over the 50w Plexi for my first Metro build? I already have a Bassman and not sure which direction to go. How are the cleans through your set up with the JTM45?

  • Tough choice but If you already have a Bassman then I'd go for the 50w Plexi.

  • AC/DC!

  • what mic did you use to record this

    the quality is great

  • I used a Sure Beta 58

  • And this is when I fell in love...

  • Ha! That was funny.

    These things are tone machines!

  • Is this a metro kit with a Marshall logo? Sounds great.

  • Yes

  • Hey Chris!! that's an awesome sounding amp!! me likey!!

    Rob

  • which scumbacks are those? I would really like to pick up a couple of those if I could afford it.

  • The cab is a Southbay Ampworks (same company that makes Scumback speakers) 2x12 loaded with two Scumback 12" drivers. One is an H57 and the other is an M75 KILLER combo! Best guitar speakers I have ever owned by a mile.

  • Awesome, thanks. I was recommended by a friend of mine to pick up a XH75-LHDC or 2 for my amp since I play a lot of high gain styles.

  • excellent........just wait till she gets about 100 hours or so........you wont believe your ears.

  • Thanks! I'm already hearing the thing open up more every day. When I first got it it was a bit mushy but that is long gone now. Also, I added some NOS Brimar tubes so that really helped too!

  • Great man! I really like your sound!

  • Thanks!

  • congratulations on the new amp! i envy you, my friend.

  • Thanks!
