  • A gentle hand can lead an elephant by a single strand of hair, likewise with horses....

  • I'd like to be able to understand her name...

  • this is amazing.

  • yo soy de conil ^^

  • I don't know if the horses are native of here always, lifelong, of ago millions and millions of years, that if I know it is that the moors didn't suppose any novelty, because the Iberian horses were known and famous since the old time and like I said, their drawings were already in the prehistoric caves of Spain. And the true breeding selectivity I believe that began with Felipe II, that he sought the super horse, the perfect horse

  • It is said that moorish sufi mystics use to speak to there horses in a language both man and beast understood. Guess its that spiritual connection between man and beast that only some today seem to know.

  • Simin Nadjafi is an iranian lady !

she shows how the tradition can be revived .

Horses are respected and loved in Iran with thousends of years of history !

    Bravo lady ,good luck !

  • Such a interesting documentary ! Make's me think twice about my bond bettwen my horse and I ;DD

  • 144: ., a beautiful harmony,

    between "women" & horse.

  • what the name of her school in spain where you can learn how to do this?

  • like we don't have enough horse whisper wanna be's.your still using domination.Your chasing the horse til he tells you he wants to work with you.Thats dominance. And when he's bad you still punish him.

  • YOU DONT OWN A HORSE FOR SURE

  • I didn't see "punishment" in this video. However, I see how the "whisper'er" aknowledges, the horses fear . And, through eye contact & "alpha" techniques, the "horse whisper'er" gains the animals trust.

  • Glad the Moors came from africa to spain, if they didnt we would never of had these beautiful horses and the knowledge to train them in arts in spain.

  • @antowalk

You don't say foolishness because the Iberian horse existed in the peninsula since immemorial times. Its effigy was already in the prehistoric caves of Altamira and was a horse admired by Roman and Greek, centuries before of the Moors

  • Ok so your making a statement that none of the specimins that you have throughout spain do not i repeat do not have no form of cross breeding with other horses that were brought by the moors. The moors were the most refeared horseman in europe which impressed the monarchs of castile, navarre, leon aregon. The knowledge learned from the moors in this department was spread throughout the kindom after the reconquista from 1492 to the present day. My family had no choice but to leave andalusian.

    Wow, I have

  • Fox--I and most other people who hit this site wanna talk-type-whisper-laugh with u about HORSES.

    not politics.

  • she should do Horse Whispering like Homer:

"When the race starts, run really fast."

  • Very nice !!!

  • Iberian horses...It doesn't get any better than that. Her "method" though is nothing new. As far back as Xenophon, the greatest trainers stressed kindness and partnership with the horse and rider. The round-pen thing is a refuge for lazy trainers too(longe, longe, longe...) You wont see them using one at the Spanish Riding Academy in Vienna, and for both horse and rider, That Is Mecca. That said, she's a hottie.

  • wideawake--'tiz refreshing 2 c other people who KNOW that these methods have been used thousands of years B4 Monty Roberts claimed 2 'invent' them.

  • And the water method, that, too, is not 'NEW'

---Native Americans (Indians) would use lakes and rivers as a safe way to train a horse 2 deal with a rider on its back. The main reason for her (and MANY others b4 her)success is she reads the horse, understands body language, behavior, and motives and can 'talk' back.

  • 'instead of domination' is a bit inaccurate. She must and DOES establish SOME dominance over a horse from the start, since horses will NOT respect an 'equal' or submissive teacher, and will challenge. It's a natural instinct. ALSO, she is not doing anything new. 'Join-up' style has been used in many cultures for thousands of years... greeks, etc. Monty Roberts did NOT invent it. Horse&Rider article-'Monty Roberts-Horse Whisperer-or Horse Feathers?' exposed many of his claims as fraudulous.

  • 1:45 she doesn't like how the reporter talks about her in third person and back turned towards her. The Anglosaxon corporate machine tries to treat people like a thing

  • me thinkest u r reading 2 much into one brief glance. We will never know and shouldn't assume exactly what she was thinking right at that moment.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes we should. That's exactly were other peoples silent opinions are found, and were all sorts of protests are incubated. And we can just as she can affect her horses by body language. You should have learned that from this video. I also implied that Spanish people do it all the time and there is conflict with an English (immigrant) reporter

  • u 'implied' no such thing in the comment i replied to...u just complained about Anglosaxon corporate machines. And i reiterate-people shouldn't just ASSUME something --u have NO idea what she was thinking-4 all U know, the 2 women had lunch or coffee together afterwards-u r underestimating her ability 2 understand the narrating scene set-up for the viewers... I 'should have learned'??? I already KNEW about these methods--I've USED them (and still do) on horses YEARS before i saw this video.

  • I hate neo-liberalism. It is false and morally wrong. It includes the attitudes you have blindly adopted that there is no truth and you can never know other people. It didn't used to be that way and in Spain still isnt'. You can't explain other people's lives or this horse whispering. Is it magic?

  • What the hell does this story have to do with neo-liberalism?

Really. Yo u need to get a life.

    Talk horses or fuck off.

  • I didn't as your permission, bitch, to talk with gonzotrix. We are talking about empathy, which is too difficult for the cruel Anglosaxons

  • You were missing a key letter. I will let you guess which one.

  • I won't guess anything. Kiss my ass

  • Sure...after you blow me, stupid asshole.

  • Ok, so let me c if i got this right....u approve of and encourage Spanish residents hating non-Spanish residents/visitors???

'neo-liberalism'--WTF??? I CAN explain horse whispering very well, actually. And i CAN read body language of most animals, INCLUDING primates, which INCLUDES humans, and I c the trainer's glance- i read approval of the words that the reporter is saying--NOT disapproval of being ignored. She KNOWS this is a set-up-shot. U r trying 2 incite discord where there IS none.

  • and what makes u think that i have 'blindly adopted' that there is no truth??? I actually hold TRUTH in the HIGHEST regard. Truth, knowledge, and understanding r needed badly in this world, NOT extremist nationalism!

  • i can give her a ride

  • I feel, the training methods described in this video also, applies to many other domesticated animals. Awesome video Thankh you.(:-)

  • Awesome, Awesome video ~ Beautiful!

  • Finally.. a video that will not spawn hate on this channel..
