Freedom of the press is the only thing that keeps the government in check. That's why Obama is trying to take that right away with the fairness doctrine. The fairness doctrine is his way of silencing anyone who does not agree with him. As long as he keeps control of the press, he controls the people. He already controls the Networks now, his goal to control the radio and the internet will silence the opposition. Beware America, it's 1939 all over again.

WAIT A MINUTE... There can be a silver lining to this Fairness Doctrine, if allowed to pass. As I see it, This Fairness Doctrine could work both ways. For every program the Liberal media of Radio, Television, and Cable put on the Airways, (ABC, CBS, NBC) The Conservative Voices, All of us, would then be allowed to follow the liberal message with one of our own, free of charge of course.

Liberals have never wanted opposing ideas. We already have Public access, the internet ETC they want only the left to be heard. We don't need the fairness doctrine its just fascism to suppress other views and kill the first amendment.
