I know I'll get trashed by fans of CoB for this, but I don't care. I'm entitled to my opinion as much as they are.

I don't like this cover. It irks me to no end when a modern band covers a metal classic & just murders the vocals. I like CoB's musical rendition on this, but the vocals are just horrid for me to listen to.

Whoever CoB's vocalist may be, he is a far cry from Klaus Meine. He may be staying true to his own vocal style, but I don't feel it does the song justice.

Ok u are entitled to your own opinion.. you may not know much about CoB so its ok.. They made an album of covers and played the songs with there own style including vocals.. these songs they did were done out of respect of the original artists.. CoBs genre is Black/ Melodic death/ thrash metal, they can be classified as any of these genres where this vocal style is a natural part of the bands normal genre.. hope this helps to make more sense for you..

I like alot of different metal music, from the melodic sound of Scorpions to the heavy thrash of Testament. Same for vocals, ranging from Geoff Tate's smooth pipes to Dave Mustaine's throaty growl. But pure death vocals like this...I never could get into them.

Thanks for respecting my opinion, and for educating me a little on CoB. It takes all kinds in music...the music scene would be pretty boring if everyone sounded the same.
