I Just came in as the Thrash-Death Metal freak to say you're insane to compare this. I liked Coal Chamber but at those ages they didn't attempted to do Metal but a kinda of screamo shit that they had no name for it. Mudvayne is a real band, but with a leading Bass and a rithm guitar, and way too better Drummer. Not saying Metal is the best genre of all the time, but take off the vocals, and try to put both bands in same stage, both would be good but Mudvayne kicks ass!!

I would definately have to go with Mudvayne.. Coal Chamber were one of the first ever ( heavy )metal bands I ever listened to. After introducing me to that world of music, I was exposed to many different bands, and by far, Mudvayne is one of the best. Coal Chamber has a unique style, and a cool sound, as does Mudvayne. The only thing Coal Chamber is missing is actual talent. When it comes to these two, Mudvayne tears Coal Chamber a new one.. "I ain't sellin' myself when there's nothing to buy.."

coal chamber. they were an amazing live band, all of their songs sound better when you heard them live, and they played well. not to mention they didn't stop being nu metal or whatever the minute it wasn't cool anymore.

mudvayne, on the other hand, is never going to sound as good live as they do on record. by the second verse of dig chad always sounds like he's about to have an aneurysm, an awesome bassist can't carry a whole band. every mudvayne album is more commercial than the one before it.

L.D. 50 blows every Coal Chamber album out of the water. Coal Chamber stayed more true to their sound (Chamber Music partially included) throughout the band's life - possibly because of their more simple approach to writing music. Mudvayne set the bar very high for L.D. 50, and could not expand upon it so easily. (Old) Mudvayne was WAY more darker, deeper and meaningful than Coal Chamber. Coal Chamber was better at getting the crowd fired up. Mudvayne burnt themselves out too early... Both good.

Then the one with the creepy little girl in the snow I think it was for a show I'm not too sure which one. And then the one The movie "Ghostship" chose mudvayne to help promote the movie by doing a live vid and then putting an extra ghostship montage using not falling on the DVD. A lot I know. And Forget to Remember has 2. One was promoting "SAW 2" and the other is just random on the set.
