The original parts were transfered to the new chassis. This was done to get it to fit into an existing vintage cabinet. I used some new valve holders and fitted a new power valve de-coupling cap for safety. I took some advise on the new layout from a vintage radio forum. One of the points was to keep the power valve away from the smoothing caps to stop them drying out due to the heat.
Thanks for favourable comment, I tweaked the trimmers on the coil pack and it increased the performance. I have another set of 'E' series valves which I am thinking of using to build another set with some Wearite coils. I am thinking about using a transparent case to show the valves?

That's neat! Is the circuitry a reproduction of the original or a different one?

That is a nice neat job with Mullard red 'E' series valves. That should align up well.
