if you wanna play psp backups (ISO), just locate them in your ISO folder on the memory stick. Possibly what you saw was an emulator, search for one and locate it in the PSP/GAME folder, then add the games to the specific location that the emulator points u

that's a file needed for runn ing backups, and it has to be pathced, so irshell can launch your backups

i do all the steps right until i get to step 7. i go to the ms and there is nothing inside. i put all the files in and it takes up space on my ms, but it doesn't show.

I don't know why but it's telling me: Not original pspbtjnf.bin, patching abort!

I followed all the instructions down to the mark but I don't know why it's doing that. Just so you know I'm running IRshell on a microSD in a memory stick converter. And it's formatted to FAT32 since it can't be formatted to FAT/FAT16.

The memorystick is not the problem, you will need to reinstall your custom firmware on your psp, this happens when that file in your psp flash memory is corrupted, re install your cfw, and it will be solved

ok, for your first problem there is no solution, both applications won't work together. The second problem the solution is very simple, in your psp recovery menu disable irsautoboot.prx. That way your psp will boot directly to xmb, mmmm and maybe cxmb could work too that way......

hey vincent, there is no complete patch for 4.01 m33, it can work but not completly well with 3.9 patcher, but you will loose a lot of irshell goodies. The only way to make it work completly in 4.01m33 is using time machine and loading other cfw from the ms. Or downgrade to 3.80 m33. I did that and i´m still enjoying irshell 3.90 at 100%

Ya so i have this strange problem, IR shell worked for me before but now when i acess my psp and go to irshell it says psp likes its opening a usd and then freezes, or just gives me a black screen untill i decide to turn the psp off, other than that everything works fine. any clue on how to fix this? i asu,e you patched tm 3.60 m33 directly running the btcnfpatch directly from irshell, so there is the mistake in order to do that you need to patch 3.60m33 on your ms, ok so for making the correct patch for the fw installed in your psp, you will need to reflash all your psp, or running despertar cementeria 5. Once you have done that start the procedure from thid video, and for patching the tm 3.60m33 is kindda difficult to explain caues you need to mess with hex editor

it works in a lot of eboots but someones are strong forced to run in the ms, just enable usbhostfs redirection or nethost redirection, then alunch it from the ms0. There are no problems with any others. Possibly you haven't patched your irshell installation
