i am a skater and i need a camera that has a good viewing degree (kinda like fisheye but not really) do u think this is a good camera, other than that, this is like the perfect camera for me
@vannk73 Hi! I'm hoping you have the camera by now. How did it work out? Any good? I'm thinking about buying it. One thing I could not find anywhere is the video format. Is it .mov or maybe mpeg? My main concern is that the my current camera has .mov format which is not supported by Window Movie Maker. So I end up converting the file and lose quality. I'd appreciate the response. Thanks!
@PhotographersOnUTube Video format is .mp4. Good camera so far. Great video, very portable and easy to use. Has optical image stabilization, manual lens cover, and hdmi output. Be sure to buy a large SDHC card at least class 6 to go with it. Only complaint is the wind noise on outdoor videos. You can find guides here on how to make your own 'deadcat' but I haven't tried it yet.
@vannk73 Thanks for the reply. I just bought this from Amazon for $196.45, plus I get associate discount as I'm Amazon partner so it was $184 which is not bad at all. I have an extra 16GB class 10 card. If that's not big enough, I'll get a 32GB one. I'll be using this for my youtube videos so wind sound will become an issue. Not sure what deadcat is, so I'll have to look into it. Once again, thanks for your response. I'll get the camera by Tuesday. Can't wait!
@abelyavsky Thanks for the reply. I am currently using Window XP and the movie maker didn't support it. I guess when I get a new PC with Windows7 it would solve this problem. Thank you!
@abelyavsky I'm an idiot. I tried so many free ones and I just didn't get the quality so I found one on Cnet. It's called My Video Converter and I ended up paying $35 for it. I guess for my other PC I'll use Pazera. Again, thank you!

@RayDan415 f=2.75 - 27.5 mm, lens size=1/4, krop=about 9, so f=24-240mm as for 35mm - not wide but middle angle
