I'm getting done in 10 days! I can't afford wavefront so I'm getting the poor man's version where, instead of using a laser to create the flap, they do it with a hacksaw or something. There isn't an hour which goes by without me thinking about it & pooing myself a little bit :/
I could definitely see myself chickening out if I hadn't already paid.
@smiffysmrs Well I'm taking my own sterilised hacksaw blade just in case. I'm from the north - we do things differently up here.
I'll bookmark & comment back after the op. I guess it's all encouraging for others who're considering it. If I'm blinded, I won't be able to type anyway, so it's win win... kinda.
@jamerficana i kinda had coke bottle eye sight - i ALWAYS had to have the lenses thinned and even then i still couldnt have any frames that didnt have a rim all the way round LOL
If you really want to have it done go and have a consultation and they'll talk over everything with you there. Let me know if you want a voucher :~)
@smiffysmrs I called and surprisingly they gave me a lot of info over the phone. I have 8.00 vision and they did surgery on people with worse. But I have to have thick eyeballs! Yikes! Im definetly gonna go to the free consultation but I might have to get someone to wheel me in with a wheelchair .(exaggeration) icant wear contacts for 5 days. :(. Whats a voucher?
@jamerficana The voucher gets you £150 off the cost of the surgery, you get it for beiung reccommended by me,so to speak. You need to produce the voucher at the consultation.
@HoneyRyder7 I had my done about 3 years ago. So far my vision is 20/20 and 20/15. You will be fine. My sure you research your doctor and ask as many question as you want. Best of luck
Gr8 video, thanks for sharing :-) I actually had the Custom Eyes Wavefront Lasik surgery on 14 Nov 2011 (in Australia) and am loving being able to see without the specs! My prescription prior to surgery was -7.5 in both eyes, now I have 20/20 vision in my left eye & better than 20/20 in my right eye! AWESOME!!!Totally agree with you, if you can afford it & you're needing glasses every minute of every day, go for it!How are you getting on a couple of years after surgery, still all ok? :-)
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I've been thinking about this for a while now - not worried about the procedure but more where I go to get it done and the surgeon - there's an Optical Express in Aberdeen so I'll have to take a look. I'd like to get it done in 2012 so fingers crossed! Thanks for taking the time to record your experience of Lasik.
@refillkey The £395 per eye is not for the eye surgery i had. Thats how they draw you in LOL, the £395 must be for a slight tweak in your vision, perhaps an astigmatism or something but its def not for what I had done. I do have the vouchers still, so if you do decide to go and have a consultation PM me and I'll pop one in the post to you. But the likelyhood is though, that it will be thousands not hundreds. If you have the money, its well worth it.
@kkabline94 It was the same day as the actual surgery, i'd just had a sleep for a few hours - impressive huh? My vision before was terrible, i couldnt see anything without my glasses AT ALL. I believe it was -7 (i cant remember it feels such a long time ago!) Good luck if you do get it.
@smiffysmrs oh wow! but i realised that you got LASIK instead of the LASEK that im planning to get...and apparently that hurts a lot more :( oh well thank you again for sharing!
I'm getting my eyes lazered real soon and im rly scared shitles. Any pain what so ever in that prosses ? and also How long till the 1 eye is completly done from begining to end ?
@papoose60 Sorry for taking ages to get back to you. I didnt experience any pain at all really, just mild discomfort. I think i was actually in surgey for about 15-20 minutes max, it was really quick.
@trilfy yes, it just resets the clock sadly it doesnt pause it. If your eyes woudl have natually deteriorated with age you will still need to wear glasses, but to be fair its a gamble worth taking for all those years without the darned things

Hi. this is wonderful you posted this. Both my husband and I are getting Lasik tomorrow (my mom is driving, of course). We are a bit nervous about it but excited at the same time. Thank you for letting us know a bit of what to expect after the surgery.
Thanks for the video, i have been told by Ultralase i am eligible but was nervous and sceptical about booking the surgery, but after watching this i picked up the phone and i am now booked for next month, fingers crossed i get great results like you did!
@BashleAshle Dont be scared, its over and done with in minutes. Just follow the instructions for your drops and sunglasses etcand I'm sure you'll be fine.
I'm getting my eye laser surgery done this friday @ Optical Express (The Netherlands). I'm very nervous but your video really calmed me down so now I'm more excited than nervous! Thanks so much!
I'd like some laser treatment, but I've only been wearing glasses for the last four years or so and I think my eyes are still changing. So not sure if it is wise yet. I will have to speak to the people :D
@JedF2010 i am still thrilled with the results and forget sometimes that I used to wear glasses at all!
I woudl definatley wait until your eyes are stable as it would be a waste of a lot of money if your eyes continued to change after the surgery. But definaltely keep it in mind for the future.
Hi im thinking of having this same procedure done pretty soon, i was wondering do you have an email or something where i could ask you some questions?
How much roughly did it cost you for yours? i know its different for everyone depending on the eye type etc, im thinking about saving up for it. The only thing putting me of is that i really hate the thought of anything cutting/poking my eyes lol. Im going to ask about it next time i go for my eye test in april i think, i dont see much poing if it will only last say 3/4 yrs and then i start to need glasses again
@Christine6 Hey it cost me about £3500 I paid for it over 10 months interest free. I dont like things poking in my eye either but honestly its all done and dusted in 15 minutes or so, u dont feel a thing except the pressure i mentioned in the vid when cutting the flap (eurgh!) Not sure where you've heard that it only lasts 3-4 years, i was told it would last until my eyes started to naturally age. Its an expensive nerve wracking process but I am so pleased with the results - even 1 year on.
@smiffysmrs Ah ok, i was just talking about it with some friends and they said what if it only lasts a few years, but i need to ask the opticians about it when i go back in april. One of my pupils i think supposedly isnt round so im thinking that could affect the price of it but im not sure.My friends brother got it done a few years ago too, he said the hardest bit is remembering the eye drops regularly. I dont know my eye perscription though, says 8.6 on my contacts but i dont know if thats it.

Hey thanx for making this video you've eased my mind,i'm boked to have my eyes done 23rd feb at optical express for wavefront and was feeling a bit nervous. My twin had hers done 4 months ago she had some red spots because of it afterwards for a while but they cleared up after a bit an now she has 20/20 vision, said she wish she'd had it done sooner.Glad it worked out for you, take care:)
thank you for your reply. is your eyes normal now as in would you be able to rub your eyes etc or do you have to be extra careful with your eyes. i would rather wear reading glasses when im older than have to wear glasses all the time as i hate wearing glasses now and contacts lenses hurt my eyes when i wear them for a long time. at night time can you still see cleaerly? thanks
@jaimemakeup Yes my eyes are normal now, i canrub/poke them all I like.
A year on (almost to the day!) my vision is still perfect and I have had no deterioration in my vision.
Its bloody fab, if you can afford it - go for it. I can always send you a voucher which will get you £150 off if you do go for it, just private message me your address.
by the way just wanted to find out did your eyes get senstive or still senstive now. i heard some people say that after the surgery their eyes got extra senstive for e.g even when the wind blow their eyes will water or extra senstive to it.
also at night time does it affect your eyesight and the way lights look?
@jaimemakeup I think the wind thing is just because you are used to having your eyes shielded by the glasses lenses for so long. It did bug me at first but now i dont notice anything at all.
I have slight night-time 'halos' around lights at night time but then again I had those when i wore my glasses too.
i found your video really imformative but i wondered did they tell you how long the laser eye surgrey results last for? isit forever or will you need glasses in the future?
@kickoffimperials my pleasure. just rememeber to be vigilent with protecting your eyes and doing the drops - i got signed off after 6 months rather than a year, the optitian (sp?) said it wqas because I took such good care in the first few weeks.
does anybody have any ultralase vouchers? would really appreciate it my quote is 3400 pound and my prescription is -4 in both eyes anyone know if anywhere else is cheaper?
@chopper1992efc i only have vouchers for optical express, I'm more than happy to send you one if you want me to. Just private message me your address.
I went to Optical Express for my Laser Surgery in Dec 2009.. I had Ultralaze Wavefront procedure..cost was £2250..(£150 discount with voucher). My presrciption wasn't too bad -2 I think?? My eyes are great better than 20/20 well worth the money!
Hi, I'm due to have my eyes done at Optical Express in October, do you (or anyone else have any vouchers left?? I would really appreciate it if anyone could send me one. I found your video story really useful, it really put my mind at rest as I am starting to worry!
@jodeysully i have loads of them. i have a feeling if you've booked already though you cant use them. but I'm more than happy to send you one just incase.
if you message me with your address this weekend i'll see what i can do. Although postie might let us down as there's not much time to get it to you.
Hi - Thanks for making this video. It's really reassuring. I'm just about to book to have my eyes done at the beginning of July. Would you be able to let me have a discount voucher? (I'm not sure how it works). Apparently it's worth £300 off of my surgery - not to be sneezed at!!
@boboHuman of course you can have a voucher but the scheme has changed slightly now in order to benefit the person who has already had the surgery more. Before would gett £300 and I would get £50, but now the £300 is spilt down the middle (or all one way) - Of course I'm gonna go for the split idea, else I get nowt, but its still worth £150. If you message me your postal address I'll get one sent to you straight away.
My surgery is in july and i'm really worried! My eyes are v sensitive and whenever i tried contacts i couldn't get them in because they kept blinking.
I'm just paranoid my eyes won't stay open. Is the suction they use to hold open your eyes very effective or would a v strong blink reflex render them useless??
@Triona258 if the consultant has said you will be fine don't worry. I didnt get on with contacts either, once i finally got them in my eyes were very dry. I worried that they were going to be dry too once I had them lasered but this is not the case. My eyes are perfectly normal now. They dont use suction to hold your eyes open, they are held open with a little doodah that goes under your lids and ping your eyes are open.
@Triona258 when you say suction I can only guess you're talking about when they make the flap. Well i had my flap created by the laser and there was no suction, just pressure.
Don't worry you can tryy to blink all you like - it just wont happen!
I had my eyes done in April and like you had trouble with contact lens so was worried about if I would have problems after surgery, but I need not have worried I have had no problems not even dry eye and like Smiffy my eyes are perfectly normal, the surgery is nothing to worry about either it was that easy if i had to go back and have it done again it wouldnt bother me at all, Dont worry about the blinking because the anastetic drops stop u blinking so its ok :) I <3 my new eyes :)
@305319 you will probably have to wait till your prescription settles and is stable for a good while. But my friend had it done before me and his prescription was -10!! So there's still hope for you.
Great Vid :) I had wavefront Intralase done on monday and was as nervous as hell, but like you said need`nt have worried didnt feel a thing through surgery, i would say the worst thing was the stinging eyes after for about 5 hours but after that settled whohoo 20.20 vision I second that if you can afford it GET IT DONE it really is worth every penny i would go and have it done :)
@lellyloo - I look at pictures of myself now and think who is that person! Its so funny how quickly you get used to not wearing glasses. I wish I had the money to do it years ago but hey at least its done now ..... I can walk in the rain with my chin up rather than just staring at the floor - its the little things!!
Hi thanks for getting back to me ! My surgery is booked for 9am on Monday 3rd of may at the birmingham branch but i booked it through wolverhampton branch after my consultation on Tuesday 6th of April. Full Name is Stephen Denny and address is 2 Elm Road ,Walsall WS31BH ! Thanks For your time with this greatly Appreciated
@stedanalton sorry I havent got back to you I've been working away during the week with no Internet access - Argh!!!! But I have printed up your details and I'll give customer Services a call ASAP for you.
@stedanalton I have tried all sorts of ways and have hit a brick wall with getting your discount. They are saying that as you never mentioned it at your consulation and have paid the total amount in full there is nothing they can do. I now have the official ammbassador refferal cards so perhaps a way round it to get the discount (which is £150 btw) would be to rebook - although check that with your branch before you do that!!! If you want a voucher then please let me know.
@stedanalton you may have problems Steve, I've just found out that the 10% discount thing stopped running about a week before my surgery. Now its called Ambassador Refferal for which I need to issue you with a voucher, but they havent come yet. If you tell me when & where your surgery is booked for I'll call up cust services and they have said they will call that branch and arrange a discount for you. Not sure how much of a discount it works out to be though as I havent received any info yet!
I am now day 6!! Vision in my left eye is still a little blurry at distance but they lasered off a lot of astigmatism!! Weekly check on friday and I'm quite nervous about looking at the charts - hope it's got better!
This has been the most amazing experience of my life so far, and now I can see I expect many more!!!
If you have doubts just go for it - you'll see the rewards - literally! and Southampton Optical Express were brilliant and so caring!
They were good at Southampton weren't they - although they do always seem to be running late for my check up appts when I go to the West Quay branch (better to go to the Above Bar one if you can)
Had it done today! The surgery went all fine, was over really quick. After the numming drops wore off my eyes were watery, bit sore and my eye lids felt really heavy, was really hard to open my eyes! After about 4 hours I could easily open them but was very light sensitive. Now 8 hours on and after 2-3 hours sleep I'm fine with any light but my vision is still abit cloudy but I can already see alot clearer! It it normal for your vision to be a little cloudy for the first day?
All sounds perfectly normal to me. My vision was definately cloudy for the first day, things will settle down, just keep on a tight schedule with your drops ( i used the various alarms on my mobile to make sure i never missed a dose ).
My eyes were very lihgt sensitive for about a week and then less so in week two, and now at the end of week three I'm pretty much normal again.
I'm booked in for my laser eye surgery on the 18th! My sister is also getting it done and she managed to get 10% off both of ours for some reason. When you had your Intralase done, you know when they use a laser to cut the flap, could you feel much pressure pushing down on your eyes? Others say this is the worst part!
Yup that was the worst bit, but it only lasted 22 seconds for each eye so its over very quickly.
Good luck - two weeks on and my vision is superb! My tip is to keep your sunglasses with you at all times for the first week or two, its really helped me. It just lets the eyes relax a bit i think
Hi, thanks for the great video! I went for my consultation today at Optical Express and after all the tests they said I am suitable for Intralase Lasik Wavefront. I have -2 in both eyes and was quoted £3190. Do you know if all the Optical Express stores aware of this 10% off refer a friend discount? As the only thing I can see by looking around is the £300 off vouchers lol.
As far as I'm aware all the branches do it, I've never heard of the £300 vouchers, but its worth asking about the referral system as I think it'll be worth more to you than just a straight £300 off. If you use my details as your referral you should get 10% off. It doesn't hurt to ask and it could save you a few quid extra!
Good luck and let me know if you go ahead with xxx
Hi, thanks for this video. I live in the USA. My intralase Lasik surgery is scheduled for 03FEB10. I'm a naval aviator so the military is covering the cost (due to my job) but I was a little apprehensive about it until I watched your video.
They already gave me the "fancy" goggles and medication. I'm supposed to put some drops in the day before the surgery.
No swimming for 30 days and they said don't let the shower pressure hit my face (eyes).
@smiffysmrs - thanks again! 10 hours until my surgery! Getting nervous but you gave me some courage! Thanks again to my youtube friend across the pond!
@smiffysmrs - Everything went really well. This morning (the day after surgery) I went in for my first post-op check up. They doctor told me that I had 20/15! Amazing technology is it not? My eyes feel fine, just a little scratchy but nothing too bad at all. LIFE CHANGING. Thanks again for your video! Cheers.
I'm getting done in 10 days! I can't afford wavefront so I'm getting the poor man's version where, instead of using a laser to create the flap, they do it with a hacksaw or something. There isn't an hour which goes by without me thinking about it & pooing myself a little bit :/

I'd like some laser treatment, but I've only been wearing glasses for the last four years or so and I think my eyes are still changing. So not sure if it is wise yet. I will have to speak to the people :D
I hope you are still pleased with the results.
JedF2010 11 months ago
@JedF2010 i am still thrilled with the results and forget sometimes that I used to wear glasses at all!
I woudl definatley wait until your eyes are stable as it would be a waste of a lot of money if your eyes continued to change after the surgery. But definaltely keep it in mind for the future.

Hi im thinking of having this same procedure done pretty soon, i was wondering do you have an email or something where i could ask you some questions?
MsLauraJane123 1 year ago
@MsLauraJane123 If you just DM me they go through to my email anyway x
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
How much roughly did it cost you for yours? i know its different for everyone depending on the eye type etc, im thinking about saving up for it. The only thing putting me of is that i really hate the thought of anything cutting/poking my eyes lol. Im going to ask about it next time i go for my eye test in april i think, i dont see much poing if it will only last say 3/4 yrs and then i start to need glasses again
Christine6 1 year ago
@Christine6 Hey it cost me about £3500 I paid for it over 10 months interest free. I dont like things poking in my eye either but honestly its all done and dusted in 15 minutes or so, u dont feel a thing except the pressure i mentioned in the vid when cutting the flap (eurgh!) Not sure where you've heard that it only lasts 3-4 years, i was told it would last until my eyes started to naturally age. Its an expensive nerve wracking process but I am so pleased with the results - even 1 year on.
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
@smiffysmrs Ah ok, i was just talking about it with some friends and they said what if it only lasts a few years, but i need to ask the opticians about it when i go back in april. One of my pupils i think supposedly isnt round so im thinking that could affect the price of it but im not sure.My friends brother got it done a few years ago too, he said the hardest bit is remembering the eye drops regularly. I dont know my eye perscription though, says 8.6 on my contacts but i dont know if thats it.

thank you for your reply. is your eyes normal now as in would you be able to rub your eyes etc or do you have to be extra careful with your eyes. i would rather wear reading glasses when im older than have to wear glasses all the time as i hate wearing glasses now and contacts lenses hurt my eyes when i wear them for a long time. at night time can you still see cleaerly? thanks
jaimemakeup 1 year ago
@jaimemakeup Yes my eyes are normal now, i canrub/poke them all I like.
A year on (almost to the day!) my vision is still perfect and I have had no deterioration in my vision.
Its bloody fab, if you can afford it - go for it. I can always send you a voucher which will get you £150 off if you do go for it, just private message me your address.
Let me know if i can be of any more help

@smiffysmrs thank you so much for your reply, you have been so helpful and you tell it like it is which i really appreciate.
jaimemakeup 1 year ago
by the way just wanted to find out did your eyes get senstive or still senstive now. i heard some people say that after the surgery their eyes got extra senstive for e.g even when the wind blow their eyes will water or extra senstive to it.
also at night time does it affect your eyesight and the way lights look?
thanks
jaimemakeup 1 year ago
@jaimemakeup I think the wind thing is just because you are used to having your eyes shielded by the glasses lenses for so long. It did bug me at first but now i dont notice anything at all.
I have slight night-time 'halos' around lights at night time but then again I had those when i wore my glasses too.
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
i found your video really imformative but i wondered did they tell you how long the laser eye surgrey results last for? isit forever or will you need glasses in the future?
jaimemakeup 1 year ago
@jaimemakeup it just rewinds the clock, if your eyes are destined to decline naturally then they will, but I'll have a head start.
Generally most people end up needing glasses of some kind as they age.

Hi - thank you for posting this! I'm getting nervous now as next Saturday (15.01.11)
I will be having the same procedure at Optical Express, Hull branch. I hope mine goes as smoothly as yours appears to have. Any regrets a year on??
dandalabra 1 year ago
@dandalabra Crikey no! I wish I'd done it sooner if anything.
I'm sure you will be fine, pls let me know how you get on.
Just remember to be really good with your drops (set alerts on your mobile) and keep your goggles or sunglasses on at ALL times.

I went to Optical Express for my Laser Surgery in Dec 2009.. I had Ultralaze Wavefront procedure..cost was £2250..(£150 discount with voucher). My presrciption wasn't too bad -2 I think?? My eyes are great better than 20/20 well worth the money!
Clunkfizzer 1 year ago
Hi, I'm due to have my eyes done at Optical Express in October, do you (or anyone else have any vouchers left?? I would really appreciate it if anyone could send me one. I found your video story really useful, it really put my mind at rest as I am starting to worry!

smiffysmrs 1 year ago
Hi - Thanks for making this video. It's really reassuring. I'm just about to book to have my eyes done at the beginning of July. Would you be able to let me have a discount voucher? (I'm not sure how it works). Apparently it's worth £300 off of my surgery - not to be sneezed at!!
boboHuman 1 year ago
@boboHuman of course you can have a voucher but the scheme has changed slightly now in order to benefit the person who has already had the surgery more. Before would gett £300 and I would get £50, but now the £300 is spilt down the middle (or all one way) - Of course I'm gonna go for the split idea, else I get nowt, but its still worth £150. If you message me your postal address I'll get one sent to you straight away.
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
Hi is it possible i could have one sent to me ?
If you message me, then i will message you my details.. Thank you :)
rainbowrampage1 1 year ago
My surgery is in july and i'm really worried! My eyes are v sensitive and whenever i tried contacts i couldn't get them in because they kept blinking.
I'm just paranoid my eyes won't stay open. Is the suction they use to hold open your eyes very effective or would a v strong blink reflex render them useless??
Triona258 1 year ago
@Triona258 if the consultant has said you will be fine don't worry. I didnt get on with contacts either, once i finally got them in my eyes were very dry. I worried that they were going to be dry too once I had them lasered but this is not the case. My eyes are perfectly normal now. They dont use suction to hold your eyes open, they are held open with a little doodah that goes under your lids and ping your eyes are open.
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
@Triona258 when you say suction I can only guess you're talking about when they make the flap. Well i had my flap created by the laser and there was no suction, just pressure.
Don't worry you can tryy to blink all you like - it just wont happen!
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
@Triona258
I had my eyes done in April and like you had trouble with contact lens so was worried about if I would have problems after surgery, but I need not have worried I have had no problems not even dry eye and like Smiffy my eyes are perfectly normal, the surgery is nothing to worry about either it was that easy if i had to go back and have it done again it wouldnt bother me at all, Dont worry about the blinking because the anastetic drops stop u blinking so its ok :) I <3 my new eyes :)

my eye sight is -7 and i'm only 15, could may eyesight be too bad for lasik by the time i'm old enough?
305319 1 year ago
@305319 you will probably have to wait till your prescription settles and is stable for a good while. But my friend had it done before me and his prescription was -10!! So there's still hope for you.

This is a really good video. Kudos
This is better than any advert that Optical Express can make, and I'm saying that as an Optical Express employee.
But this is a good honest review of Wavefront Intralase (not Ultralase Wavelength like you said :P)
I've had it done aswell so I know exactly what you mean with everything and I reckon this video will be helpful for alot of people. Nice one!

Great Vid :) I had wavefront Intralase done on monday and was as nervous as hell, but like you said need`nt have worried didnt feel a thing through surgery, i would say the worst thing was the stinging eyes after for about 5 hours but after that settled whohoo 20.20 vision I second that if you can afford it GET IT DONE it really is worth every penny i would go and have it done :)
lellyloo 1 year ago

Good luck and just remember you'll be fine!!
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
@stedanalton I have tried all sorts of ways and have hit a brick wall with getting your discount. They are saying that as you never mentioned it at your consulation and have paid the total amount in full there is nothing they can do. I now have the official ammbassador refferal cards so perhaps a way round it to get the discount (which is £150 btw) would be to rebook - although check that with your branch before you do that!!! If you want a voucher then please let me know.
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
Just watched your vid and I have taken your details as I have my consultation tomorow thanks and enjoy your 50 pounds spending money !Steve Denny
stedanalton 1 year ago

If you have doubts just go for it - you'll see the rewards - literally! and Southampton Optical Express were brilliant and so caring!
pepsiokay 1 year ago
How did your weekly check go?
They were good at Southampton weren't they - although they do always seem to be running late for my check up appts when I go to the West Quay branch (better to go to the Above Bar one if you can)
smiffysmrs 1 year ago
Had it done today! The surgery went all fine, was over really quick. After the numming drops wore off my eyes were watery, bit sore and my eye lids felt really heavy, was really hard to open my eyes! After about 4 hours I could easily open them but was very light sensitive. Now 8 hours on and after 2-3 hours sleep I'm fine with any light but my vision is still abit cloudy but I can already see alot clearer! It it normal for your vision to be a little cloudy for the first day?
npower90 2 years ago
All sounds perfectly normal to me. My vision was definately cloudy for the first day, things will settle down, just keep on a tight schedule with your drops ( i used the various alarms on my mobile to make sure i never missed a dose ).
My eyes were very lihgt sensitive for about a week and then less so in week two, and now at the end of week three I'm pretty much normal again.
smiffysmrs 2 years ago
I'm booked in for my laser eye surgery on the 18th! My sister is also getting it done and she managed to get 10% off both of ours for some reason. When you had your Intralase done, you know when they use a laser to cut the flap, could you feel much pressure pushing down on your eyes? Others say this is the worst part!
npower90 2 years ago
Yup that was the worst bit, but it only lasted 22 seconds for each eye so its over very quickly.
Good luck - two weeks on and my vision is superb! My tip is to keep your sunglasses with you at all times for the first week or two, its really helped me. It just lets the eyes relax a bit i think
smiffysmrs 2 years ago
Hi, thanks for the great video! I went for my consultation today at Optical Express and after all the tests they said I am suitable for Intralase Lasik Wavefront. I have -2 in both eyes and was quoted £3190. Do you know if all the Optical Express stores aware of this 10% off refer a friend discount? As the only thing I can see by looking around is the £300 off vouchers lol.
npower90 2 years ago

Thanks for the video!!!
