In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it.

@newark51000 Genesis sucks! Why? First of all they use synthesizers to play their dull old people music. Playing a synthesizer requires no skill to give an illusion of "good" music and cover the other crappy sounds of the song especially if you play it at the super slow motion speed they do it. Do I even have to mention how they abuse the other instruments they play by not putting them into their full potential.

@dezao9legal You don't know what your talking about. A Synthesizer requires a lot of skill. And Phil Collins did this song back in the 80s, when Synthesizers were used a lot in music. Phil Collins was a professional drummer (which is how he got in Genesis) It's obvious you don't know much him or Synthesizers. Pink Floyd used synths in their music too.

I get very miffed when people who claim to be huge genesis fans think that every ballad that genesis produce is down to phil. Tony Banks has been and always will be the best song writer from genesis. all the band members who have been with genesis all agree that over the years and all the solo projects that they have been in, Genesis is Tony Banks Solo career.
