My Big chop was in July of this year (nearly the 1st of August had i waited about 4 more days). Nevertheless, i'm doing well. One thing i did though different than most people did is that i stopped using relaxers for about 4 mths before i cut it so that i would not have very short hair to start with. Then when i was ready, i washed it and cut ALL the straight(relaxed) ends off. And here I am today; 5 mths later.
Tomorrow's my 4 month nappyversary and I plan on telling all of youtube lol I'm so proud of myself and you should be too cause your hair is beautiful =]
