I've never seen a Holden in person, that I'm aware of, but having looked at alot of pics of Holdens through the years, I can say that my favourites are the HD, the HR, the HT, the HQ, the HX, the VB (Commodore), the VL, the VL, the VN, and the VS Commodore.
savour the pictures and memories... GM may go bankrupt if it cant beg for enough money from US government. Ford on the other hand does not need to borrow the funds and can survive throughout 2009 without the government loan.
@Pookatube The hardest part will be finding an importer that won't rip you off; the easiest way would be to find some quotes for shipping, come to Australia and choose the car yourself. It should be noted too, that Holdens in South Africa were left hand drive, but badged as Chevrolets. With the HK, HT, HG and HQ Holdens, they all had small block Chev engines as an optional engine. For fuel efficiency, get one with either a 253 or 308 cubic inch Holden V8.
I have a VT Acclaim wagon,i absolutley love it..i call it the FC ,for Flash Commodore ,FREEDOM ,thats what it is.
