    reliable too.

  • vb commodore just a rebadged opel rekord

  • @illcounttill3 fuck you ! its a aussie owned car every kids taught that in school you know

  • I've never seen a Holden in person, that I'm aware of, but having looked at alot of pics of Holdens through the years, I can say that my favourites are the HD, the HR, the HT, the HQ, the HX, the VB (Commodore), the VL, the VL, the VN, and the VS Commodore.

  • Great post mate.....enjoyed that !!!

  • Me Too....Took me back in time.....I always loved Holden's and when I was a kid I'd always look out for the new model on the road...

  • for those in the usa

the best models to import are the following

    HK HT HG HQ

some models were fitted with chevrolet enginges without any engineering mods

    307 327 350 in the chev engine

400 turbohydramatic trans and saginaw 4 speed stick were all factort optional

your only problem is there all right hand drive in australia

  • such reliable cars..

  • the ve wagon is gonna be a big hit i reckon

  • savour the pictures and memories... GM may go bankrupt if it cant beg for enough money from US government. Ford on the other hand does not need to borrow the funds and can survive throughout 2009 without the government loan.

Most of holdens car come from korea now anyways

  • nice clip......beautiful pictures ...

  • cool car

  • I love the VZ wagons

  • @ives2071 i like the vx more smooth curves

  • Thats not just a car! Its a kingswood!

  • alot of the good ones are hidden

  • first off youll have to find one in good cond :P

  • How can I import some of the 60's and 70's Holden Wagons to the USA?

  • @Pookatube The hardest part will be finding an importer that won't rip you off; the easiest way would be to find some quotes for shipping, come to Australia and choose the car yourself. It should be noted too, that Holdens in South Africa were left hand drive, but badged as Chevrolets. With the HK, HT, HG and HQ Holdens, they all had small block Chev engines as an optional engine. For fuel efficiency, get one with either a 253 or 308 cubic inch Holden V8.
