Because of gambling I have contemplated suicide, I have written many bad checks, and I have taken all of the money out of my bank account that was supposed to be there for my bills and I have gambled it hoping to make money with it and return it to my account (which of course never happened). I have taken cash advances on all of my credit cards and maxed them all out, and I have abandoned bank accounts that had become overdrawn from bad checks. The nightmare is perpetual and I want out of it.
I am starting to comes to terms with the fact that I am never going to recover my huge losses. I am very sad and frustrated about how much money I have lost, but I know that the casinos now have my money and I will only lose more and more trying to get it back if I continue on the destructive path I am on. The casinos have my retirement money, all of my savings, and I am now sitting here with literally only lint in my pocket. (to be continued)
Money can be better spent doing anything else other than gambling. Sitting in a casino while breathing in carcinogenic cigarette smoke and hoping to win some kind of jackpot is really a miserable and pathetic way to spend one's time. I know this all too well from my experience. I am still addicted to gambling and I never have a good time when I am constantly chasing my losses. I do recognize that I have a major gambling problem and I am desperately trying to find a way to quit. (to be continued)
I really like your videos and you are providing a great service to people who believe they have gambling problems. Of everything i have listened to you say on your videos, I would only have to disagree with you on one thing. I am totally anti-casino and anti-gambling. Losing any money on gambling, whether it be in moderation or not, is awful. Even if some people "enjoy" playing the machines or table games, I believe it is a false sense of enjoyment. (to be continued)

@OZRIC1985 You can get and WILL get out of it. One day at a time. Just visualize how you will feel before placing a bet and losing.
