The reason why he has to put out His wrath on the people for not obeying Him, is simply because many human beings don't want to live His ways. Doesn't mean they are evil, they just might not be interested. Should they be "destroyed", as you say, because of this?

It is sad that it will take such hardship just to get some to turn to His ways and it is even sadder that most still will not want to become perfect love even after He sets out to humble them.
Yet, the coming time of affliction will still increase His family and this is a good thing.
Some will receive eternal life in His family because He is sending the calamity.
