  • We moved to Australia from the U.S. in the mid 60's when I was 10... my brother and I LOVED Shintaro! We had certainly never seen anything like this in the States! We were particularly amused with the translation into English... sometimes an actor's lips would move for about twenty seconds, and the English translation would simply be "What's that?!". It was great!

  • Had a full set myself when I was younger but they somehow disappeared. Found another full set for sale at a market about 12 years ago and bought it, though the colour card was a bit tatty. Then discovered that a friend had about 4 good quality colour cards so he gave me one.

  • 10 years ago, in Chapel St markets in Melbourne, I acquired the full set of bubble gum cards. Taking them to the grave. My precious!!! Many of them are able to be seen on "Shintaro meets the Deadly Koga". Enjoy this wonderful trip down Memory Lane...

  • i use to collect the bubble gum cards

  • Can you upload the entire documentary, if you have it, please?

  • Boy, you Australians were lucky. If this show were broadcast in the States, they would've censored it to high heaven.
