forgot how good this film is. Beats 90% of the trash the Hollywood machine churns out nowadays. Please don't remake this Robocop, Total Recall, the Goonies or Standby me.
I like how Tuck becomes Jack's "Jiminy Cricket" (so to speak). Well, Jack already has a conscience, but he lacks self-confidence. Tuck teaches him to assert himself and be an ubermensch, master of his own destiny. I like the scene at the end where Jack says to Tuck, "Welcome home, Lieutenant," then Tuck gives him a manhug. XD
This movie HAS to be made into a game for the Xbox. Can you imagine piloting the little craft through some awesome 3D graphics of the human body? Why haven't they done it yet?!
shit, that was a good movie. extremely underrated. there is no way in hell they would make this right now and it would probably be shit. joe dante needs more recognition for his work.
@CuddleNation In my humble opinion, this movie isn't old enough to merit a re-make. Even if it did, I'd probably throttle the person who tried re-making it....you can't beat a cast such as this one.
@JulianneSparrow2 I disagree.. nowadays (90% being generous despite de ocasional lovely surprise) remakes equal absolute dissapointment and the destruction of a classic....
trailers were so shitty in the 80s. the fucking announcer reads the entire plot of the movie! as for "InnerSpace", a forgotten, underrated masterpiece. thank the gods for DVD!
The new lcds with led based backlight will shrink todays screens from 5 cm depth to 1 cm. Later on we will have plastiv screens like paper or overhead papers.
Soundtrack of The Goonies? :P Strange

@danniegirl1213 That's because it is. Our generation isn't the first to use scores from other films in new trailers to sell a new film

@QuartuvLarry Yes we are. The first "X-Men" movie trailer used the music from the end of "Dark City".

Great trailer, only lose the Goonies music and use Jerry Goldsmith's score, far better for a sci-fi movie such as this.

JulianneSparrow2 9 months ago
@JulianneSparrow2 Neither old enough nor popular enough.
Cult classic, sure...but that's not enough to remake something.
Hell Hollywood is drowning in remakes as it is. I don't get this culture of having to remake everything so it fits in with today's standards.
