I really like the fact that you are taking some pride in customizing your equipment without sacrificing safety. That is where I would have to downplay groups that focus on looks instead of useability. I don't think I would bother with boffers if thrusting were disallowed like often happens with latex weapons.

Love the scythe man. I made one myself it's a lot slimmer than yours. And slightly more curved. I haven't had a chance to add anything to make it look nice. It's really top heavy, I personally like yours, a lot. Have you had a chance to use yours in action? it keeps snowing or raining here so my group always cancels.

quicksilverarmoury.webs.com I make a hybrid, boffer style blade with a latex crossguard and pommel, pretty durable and nice to look at. You do make some good stuff.

@wrongoboy15 My brother made a scythe, it didn't look nearly as cool, but it was probably more functional and safe. You should make some numb-chucks , because I made some, and they are sweet, not very good in a sword fight, but sweet in a hand-to-hand or dagger fight.

These weapons are good but par at best. Go to google groups and type in Swordtag if you want to see some real foam weapons
