They don't lose money if they don't buy their song. How do they make a loss? It's not like it's physical property being stolen that needs to be replaced. It's a file on a server somewhere. They do not make a loss from pirates.

Besides. 1 download does not equal 1 sale. The people that pirate music do it because they don't want to purchase it. If they didn't pirate it, they wouldn't buy it either.
