Yes the priests, popes, jesuits in particular do many evil things which is true but the church itself is not evil - only those who run it. My MIL had a son born in 61 of down's syndrome and she never made an abortion and raised the child and later had to put him in an institution where the nuns looked after him. When he was born my MIL was told that he would not live past the age of 20 but he did; he lived until this Friday that past and my MIL was deeply religious. They lived through all the torment of the Civil War in Lebanon and the hell of a life right up till today. MIL has been dead since 2000 and her son must be an angel.
All one need to do is see the actual results of an abortion, the dismembered and bloody tiny, arms, hands, feet, heads - to know deep down in your heart, soul, and intellect that this is a travesty beyond belief. The excuses and justifications for abortions we've been fed for so long suddenly seem ridiculous and lame. It would not surprise me a bit if this is what brings down some serious divine wrath soon. For the liberals and hippies out there, just think of it as karma.
Abortion ruins lives...the sorrow of it is consuming and terrible.....I am suffering about it every day.....as a friend to some who aborted.....as a person who by the grace of God resisted such a horror....I hope that little ecsatsies are born and not murdered. Even if you suffer alienation by those who murdered theirs or some of theirs.....God is with you and He will give you real friends.
No one can justify anything. We just do what is right for us. unfortunately some people have no love in them and yes they do kill people who are alive and that have a presence in the world. abortion is a very difficult decision made by a woman who has health issues, or other concerns they mave have for that baby if it is born. i believe that "god" is energy. it always has been and always will be. that you cannot deny. i wish you peace in your heart and calmness in your soul.

It's the only place in the Apocalypse where "despotes" appears. Does St. Jerome also translate "kurios" as "Domine"? ("Kurios" is in the last two verses of the Apocalypse).

I think you've got the right interpretation of the 5th seal, because the souls under the altar don't have the testimony of Jesus Christ like others that John writes about (Rev 1:9, 12:17, 19:10). Also they say "Master" instead of "Lord," and they're given white robes instead of washing them white in the blood of the Lamb (Rev 7:14). It's as though they never got to hear the gospel.
