Oh. I see. "Gli" is actually used not only in plural for masculine nouns that start with "Z" or with "S" (the latter letter before a consonant) for the plural of any nouns that start with a vowel, whether they are masculine or feminine.
"Lo" (sing.) and "gli" are for masculine nouns that start with "s" before any consonant that can come after it and those starting with "z", right? "L'" is for all nouns starting with any noun that starts with a vowel, whether it's singular or plural and masculine or feminine, right?
Help! I have met an Italian and need to know how to say." You have an interesting username where does it originate from? My Italian is very basic. But i am learning fast..I hope you enjoy the video I am sending you. Many regards...."
If anybody could translate this into Italian for me I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!!!
PS
I am doing a beginners course in Italian but I am finding it rather difficult. Unfortunately I only speak and write English!
ciao raggazi io sono egiziano mi piace aquesta lingua . io voglio il tuo auito . i like this language very much i wanna anyone to practise with him thanks
@SmotPoker09 lol you changed your opinion about learning arabic qouickly just try and i am sure you can do it and anyway i accepted your deal coz really i wanna learn italian thank you very much
useful video!! now i can make some picture of italian lang.!! i'm excited to start learning italian as i speak spanish, italian could be easier to me!!
i am italian i am curious why you are studing italian language? anyway italian is a very hard language to learn. It's simple only for french and spanish people which have a very similiar grammar and words.
@alfriendo2008 ciao so the translating is: "You have an interesting username where does it originate from? " = " hai un interessante username da dove viene?" but there are many different ways to say the same question. Anyway the form TU is informal so with friends and relatives.
Will knowing a fair amount of Latin and spanish help with Italian? I feel as if this is a super easy language from what I've been studying online... but it's not.
italians is more complicated as gramma than english, french, chinese, because every word has a meaning, and grammar is very hard, trust me,there isnt any language maybe except spanish verbs
@eheheh1986 il francese e' sicuramente piu' complicato dell'italiano in quanto ogni parola scritta e' pronunciata diversamente. Per il resto la grammatica e' realmente molto molto simile all'italiano.
e tu vorresti mettere a confronto la complessità della grammatica italiana con quella cinese o giapponese? sempre se ce l'hanno una grammatica...una sola parola..ops simbolo ha tremila significati..che grezzi
Hahaha you dont know the languages !!! Italian is really easy!! it appears to Spanish !!! the most difficult are Chinese, Japanese, Switzer and French !!! but not Italian
Italian is easier than any other language but you need the right teacher and by that i mean you need more than " the pen is on the table" you need to learn culture as well Italian is the 5th language i learned and it is well worth the effort i went through to become profficent if you are interested in learning the language msg me and i can show you some exciting sites.

@milly8389 I think it is easier than French becasue in Italian you pronounce all of the letters. English is my native language.

..oh sorry. I must add that
LO is used for all masculine substantives that begin to Z or for masculine substantives which first letter is an S followed by a consonant. (lo sCeriffo, lo sTupido)

Nice lesson.Just a specification...very simple:
LO is used for all masculine and singular substantives that begin to S or Z.
(lo stivale, lo zaino, lo zoo, lo stereo)
LO and LA become L' when the substantive begins to A,E,I,O,U.
(l'altro, l'oro, l'ultimo)
Micfly752 3 years ago
il, lo, la, i, gli, le; it's easy, also a baby know this.
