Ended on a positive note that's good. Screenwriting is an art art and like artists its very uncertain that your going to make a living out of it but I think if you can get a day ob to support yourself while screenwriting on the side then your ok. It can just be your hobby and if it goes somewhere then great.
What would life be if you didn't have dreams. Being realistic while staying motivated I think is key.
