People! I think this world has problems of it's own without us (yup, me too) nerds fighting about what computer brand is the best. And, besides, PC is meant for gaming and most computer users who want to save cash, Macintosh is for the ones who want to spend more on a computer that has a smaller chance of getting malware or viruses and what comes with tons of Apple applications. Now, I even thought, that OS X users and Windows users were the only ones fighting, but no. "Dell's better!" "No!"etc.

@logitech4873 I don't have a problem with people who build their own computers, but when they trash on people who spend a few extra hundred bucks on a computer then they're just stupid. If you have a $2,000 desktop, you could probably spend $1,500 on identical parts (I mean identical, not cheapo lowest price parts). Keep in mind Windows costs over a hundred dollars depending on where you get it (some people like to be legal and have support). And having it built for you reliably is good+warranty

@logitech4873 Also alienware has good quality parts. When you look for parts you probably find the lowest price possible for that type of thing. There's a difference between a crap hard drive and a good hard drive. Difference between crap ram and good ram. Difference between crap motherboard and good motherboard. You probably look at laptops and look at the specs only. "Oh boo hoo this laptop costs more but has the same specs people who buy it are stupid and are rich!". It's more than specs.

This is the most boring 10minute video ever you could have just downloaded virtualbox from the website in the first place because people following the tutorial will use the downloaded version, and after all you're using a CD with ubuntu which has been downloaded and burned. the easy way is just browsing to the .iso file. anyway i think you did helped some people with this tutorial so good job.

for full screen you need to install guest additions. Go to Devices>>Install Guest Additions. It should put a cd in. You can't do this in lunix because of the autorun runs a .exe file

VirtualBox Runs better in Ubuntu Linux than Windows I think ... It seems faster in Linux...

Virtualbox comes with Linux repositories, and gives a lot of support to Linux... just like CrossOver that is basically WINE runs on Mac and Linux... and came a long way because of Linux... It's best if you are using Linux it's best not to install VirtualBox from the repositories... it's best to get it from the site because it's better... Now when it come to installing Ubuntu you can just WUBI < :)

Or Linux Mint, or Linux Ubuntu form live CD's... or an of the 1,000 of Linux ,and BSD, or PC-BSD

In order to be able to make the window full screen you'll have to use the terminal in the Guest OS.

First, mount the Guest Additions (in one of the menus of VBox), then you'll see a DISC icon appear on the Linux guest desktop.

Open terminal:

type exactly: su - root (this gives you root acces -- don't fuck anything up)

Then type: cd /cdrom

And then: sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run (for 32bit)

Btw you need to install DKMS before you do any of this:

use this command: sudo apt-get install dkms

Use XBMC (Xbox Media Center) or Elisa I beleive both re in the repos, if not google them and they do have .deb files you can install...like .exe to Windows.
