i have downloaded dvd quality 23 mkv episodes. just for making an amv. and you saying you cant find any raws. just download mkv and split video.

Last time i converted mkv it came from 230mb to 10 gig on default settings my window player couldn't handle playing 150mb per second id rather avi direct download raws
i send you a short tutorial for help.
It's a good amv... if just it didn't have subtitles in the way T_T
