Being "saved" means complete obedience to Jesus Christ. To have an intimate close relationship with Him. Jesus is the one who will judge us in the last day. It is Jesus who will allow us to enter Heaven, or tell us "go away, I never knew you." Reading the bible is all well and good, but it wont save you. The early church did not carry around scriptures, that what the scribes did. They had the Holy Spirit guiding them. You CAN be saved and go to heaven if you REPENT, and sin no more.
