@ VTATransitGuy I worked for Longs Drugs and CVS for about three years now . We were going through the process of changing and I got my fair share of customers complaining about that too. We got a better discount when we were Longs as well lol.

Although we do have more inventory than Longs did, CVS has more unfair rules for employees as far as dress code, lunch breaks and shit goes. I hated working for them for the longest time but slowly I got used to it, now, I just think the company is okay.

@TaknRisks please, you got a management promotion because everyone else quit cause they dont want to work for a shitty company, I worked for CVS 10 years and put up with lots of bs, and I cleaned up many stores along the way. Look at a Walgreens parking lot vs a CVS parking lot during business hours at capacity you will see the difference. Its all about service and know how. Walgreens in is a gridlock for promotions right now because they are not hiring or promoting, there are no positions.

This is one example or all the arenas and ballparks that youre expected to call by the company name. If you buy a company with name recognition KEEP IT. Youre pissing off the consumers.

Actually what your complaining about is naming rights. They don't buy the stadium but pay the team for the rights to put the name of their company in the name of the stadium.

Couldn't say it better myself. CVS bought out Longs Drugs (CA based) in Oct of 2008 and once they changed the name on the front and the way we did business, customers noticed right away, and were not happy. And almost 2 years later, people still come up to me at the register and tell me how much better Longs was. CVS may have been able to convince East Coast people they're great, but the West, not so much.

Hmm... While I'm not a total fanboy of the company, I do wish to point out that I at least make sure to say hello or goodbye to every single customer who comes/leaves. It's possible that your store's cashiers just weren't properly trained. I mean, it shouldn't take training to realize that you should greet customers, but some people don't realize how disrespectful it is. With that said, I more often than not get ignored or even get an angry face from customers when I say hello/goodbye.

This song is "Ordinary Miracle" It is originally sung by Sarah McLaughlin over the end titles in the live-action remake of "Charlotte's Web" (in an animated sequence) I think Kathy Fisher sings this version. It's used beautifully in the movie.

I think it is so ridiculous how they put on things regularly found in nature and make it seems like it is so rare(not cool or beautiful, because they are, but rare) what is the definition of miracle? Very nice commercial, I work for CVS, dont believe the illusion, the company will not staff the stores, to support the message of this commercial. So if you do actually come into the store, you will not be getting the service you expect. Its just advertising not reality. Our company is too busy giving away $30 gift cards for new or transferred RX's to customers and taking the money directly out of our payroll budgets so we cannot serve the customer as expected from this lovley commercial.

SunLife Financial was more creative with this song. I got to see both ads, being in Canada. A song called "Ordinary Miracle", in my opinion, is better suited for an insurance/financial company (since stability is an ordinary miracle).
