They might have UG'd to a skyline engine. This would provide the correct power to weight ratio enabling the datsun to obtain an 11 second run........?
i found this clip somewhere on the net. I know it has a rotory motor or chevy small block or something like that, it isn't nissan powered. I think it was 11sec car for under 10,000 or something on his site
i love the good old datos great fun to have one good fun to do up to they allways looked good im throwing a fresh l20b back into mine again and restoring her back to her glory days i allready got a george fuery bathurst kit for it so she shall look good
nice man, love the ole L20. My friends got one with the huge side draft carbs, cams, and higher comp. pistons. We would go to our street and keep the an even keeled cookie nose to nose til the tires fall off. Nice chassis for the 60's!
