I am just reading Graham Hancock's book Underworld, which is about lost cities around the world, and includes info on possible palaeolithic history to Malta, when these sites were last above water between 18,500 and 10,500bc! V interesting vid - thanks for posting (yes nice music too).
I just got back from diving there on 9/09/07 and Gozo was awesome. The boulder park under the Azure Window was fantastic. Have dived in many places around the world and this was some of the best. Highly recommend it!
I dived there Easter 2005 - what a memory, excellent film. Apparently one of the largest Great Whites was caught there some years ago. I didnt know until after the dive!!
Can someone please tell me how close sharks come to the shore in Malta/ Gozo?
I used to swim fearlessly over there as a teenager, but now, i'm too cautious. Especially after seeing photos of the Filfla Great White...
I'd enjoy Malta more if i could swim happily.

Nice vid, also the music! I dived here last September 2007 for the second time. Gozo is one of my favorite places for diving...

Was there twice but only did a little snorkling. Enjoyed seeing what it looks like to take that passage from below the boats I was in.
