VFX does have arguments. Most of them are red herrings or logically incoherent, but some small portion of them are quite compelling. The problem is, those few arguments are compelling because they have lies at their center. Hence, the value in debating him.
Many of the crazier fundies here on YT like and respect VFX, and sometimes people may unknowingly stumble upon his little gems. Pointing out that he's a liar for the sake of those people may be a personal attack, but it's hardly silly.

VFX does have arguments. Most of them are red herrings or logically incoherent, but some small portion of them are quite compelling. The problem is, those few arguments are compelling because they have lies at their center. Hence, the value in debating him.
Many of the crazier fundies here on YT like and respect VFX, and sometimes people may unknowingly stumble upon his little gems. Pointing out that he's a liar for the sake of those people may be a personal attack, but it's hardly silly.

As a Canadian, I am so sorry for his insanity, we as a people are vastly more atheist than he would have you believe, with the exception of immigrants. Not to insult immigrants, we love people of all creeds and ethnicities, which is why we have open arms toward them. I should state however, that there is little no no chance that any Canadian law enforcement arrested any muslims, especially because of our policy. Despite the "death threats" an arrest would look contrived and "anti-muslim".
