i think its awesome how both bobby engram and deon butler were great penn state recievers and they both played with the seahawks. ant wait to see deon this year
I've seen every PSU wideout for the past 30 years. You will love Butler in Seattle. Quality skills on the field, high character person off the field. We'll miss him at Penn State.
ooooh baby hes gonna be a great replacement and 4th wr on a spread formation along with housh burleson and branch!! i cant wait for this year. GO HAWKS
I'm a bit iffy about this guy, I watched him make som nice catches, but he also seems to not be able to hold onto the ball if he gits a hit put on him, the very thing that killed D-Jack's seahawks career. hopefully he fits in well enuff to make up for the loast of bobby in the slot..
Deon is SUCH a quality guy. played high school ball with him and I have to say that there is no one I would have rather played with, no one I would rather have as a teammate, than Deon Butler.
traded a second round pick for a horible broncos next year 1st round pick. not to mention they got that pick back. they added the best player in the draft. theyre comin back healthy, locked, and loaded. AND they signed ken lucas. a 6ft corner who had a case for the pro bowl last year. u team him up with Trufant?
seahawk fans are u kidding me think about getting deon butler who looks sick and aaron curry possibly the best player in the whole draft and unger from oregon to finally have some protection and then ohh yeah we got a guy named tj houshmanzadah and hasselback healthy and nate burleson healthy holy SHIT....this team could by far be the best next year....IF and i mean IFFFFFFFF nine of our best players dont miss the whole season........im fuckin pumped cant wait we will dominate
Im very excited for him to play with the hawks!! I believe he can be great with learnings from T.j. as will all our recievers! I love the max ugner pick up as well great zone blocker and was projected as first round talent for sometime and the curry pick up was great too....and who saw the 1ST ROUND PICK IN 2010 FROM BRONCOS FOR A SECOND!!! dumb move by them lol!! i hope they do terrible and we pick top 5 and whatever our pick is...can anyone say taylor mays annndd a great lineman!!!
His size is not really a big let down with this guy. He is the same size as our former WR Bobby Engram, 5'10"-5'11" and 188lbs. Plus he broke Engram's reception record this past season. He'll fit right in with the Hawks; decent-good hands, and great speed.
he went to my highschool

Yes. Absolutely. Deon is incredibly classy and has excellent character. One of my favorite players to ever wear a Penn State uniform.

seahawks had a the best offseason in the nfl.
it would not surprise me if u see them in miami in february.
Blinvalyay 2 years ago 4
Eagles did and here's why:
1) Added a franchise LT in Jason Peters who is still in his prime.
2) Addition of FB Leonard Weaver who fits in perfect with WC offense.
3) Drafting Jeremy Maclin, best WR in the draft.
4) Drafting Shady McCoy best pure RB in this year's draft class.
PROJECTION: 11-5

People who say size is a let down, look at Steve Smith, and Heniz Ward. Deon has to get some meat on, but he'll be a great WR

4.31 was his best time at the '09 combine, which was a hand held time as opposed to his ET, which are usually always slightly slower

this guy really ran a 4.26 at the 2009 nfl scouting combine .
