  • Like most aspiring young guitarists in early 60ies I had listened to The Shadows 24/7 and could never get enough of their sound and skills. And yes, when they turned to Burns I thought the new guitar sound was quite unique again and I loved it.

  • 'Genie with the Light Brown Lamp' is to the Shadows what "I'm Looking Through You" is to the Beatles/.

  • I gave this some 'heavy rotation' when I was a kid on my mum's philips suitcase record player! This and 'got to hurry' by the yardbirds inspired me to play guitar.

  • MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY - ESP IN SCOTLAND!!

  • Another nice music from Shadows!

  • A beautiful boppy little song by this unforgettable UK instrumental group. Very typical Hank B. / Shadows chord, note, and key- changes in this very happy little piece. Runs along very nicely at a very pleasant 'foot-tapping' pace of beat & rhythm (like so many of the band's tracks do). You've included some great graphics here of the Boys + Leo Fender's wonderful masterpiece invention, the famous Strat guitar. Congrats !!

  • @colindominy shame this was recorded using Burns Marvins.

  • @wgdanson i wish i had a burns guitar. (i like to play stratocasters too )

  • Love this happy tune....

  • Dobry ,dobry,bardzo dobry
