Um, the American versions do NOT suck! they are better than the Japaneses versions...100 TIMES better and the series would never of became as famous as it is now if they haven't made American versions of are own to go with the Dragon Ball z series.

in no way are the American versions better than the Japanese versions. even the so called "uncut" releases are lamer than the original Japanese.

I wouldn't say one was lamer or one was better than the other.

Both soundtracks provide different atomospheres to the series.

Example: From what I've heard, the Japanese soundtrack is more joyful, even during fights and powerup scenes, it'd be slightly dramatic, but still joyful.

The American version however, provides a more dramatic atomosphere during fights and power up scenes, while still joyful durning peaceful scenes.
