  • That's why in a car u should still look over your shoulder not just use the mirrors

  • what a jerk off.

  • i hate when tiny bikes are in the middle of a lane going slow as shit. they dont give way and i can't see them in my side mirrors most of the time. not talking about you though

  • Rest in peace bro

  • RIP Sven. Still feels weird coming across your vids.

  • @EvtheNev *steve

  • Well, you should have just knocked on the window. We all are fat with bad teeth just to clear that up. I do hate to even say that happen to everyone on a motorcycle and if it has not, Then YOUR time will come sooner than you think. No body watches for a bike. I see a Harley with the green lite 25mph and grandmother pulls right out in front of one of the bikes and the other was lucky just hit his rear rim, but he did not go down, the other guy went over on the hood and still slid another 15ft.

  • R.I.P svengalie

  • its a near miss ,its not a near miss, americans are fat, brits have bad teeth.....grief! looking back through these comments im stunned at how ridiculous some people can be.ffs grow up.

  • u pussy! that was nothing! stop putting BS videos on Tube!

  • @CyrusArian1986 i'm sure you will be happy to know he wont be as he passed away leaving 2 young kids

  • @donkey2793 You are right... that did make me happy!

i was raised without a father.. the kids will be fine!

  • @CyrusArian1986 Dick head.

  • this is only a near miss if you think of your bike as a car , in a bike you have a lot of room to escape and even get between two cars.

  • Yeah "near miss" failed to hit. Do you have a hot water heater too?

  • idiot the biker wasnt even in a blind spot he just didnt check mirrors at all

  • Stupid moron in ford :/

  • if that was my dad he would of went nuts at that dude lol

  • this happens a lot they dont look when they change lane... im always happy when they at least see me at the last moment and move out the way!

  • similar happened to me, but it didnt miss, got around 5g in insurance

  • honestly dude u should have seen that coming. look ahead more. just saying

  • Check ur blind spots ppl!!

  • It would actually be "Near Hit" Because you nearly hit it. If it was a "Near Miss", then it would have been a hit, because you nearly missed it but still hit it

  • @AdamTheHunt AdamTheHunt > an english dictionary.

  • @AdamTheHunt thats what ive always said

  • @AdamTheHunt No, it's a miss, denoted by the word "miss". It could have been; near, close, far, wide, proximity or any one of an infinant kind of misses. In this, or the above context, that word miss means it's not a hit ;).

  • @maptlbh The adverb "near" implies "not" in the context of whether it occurred or not. For example, your test scores in english nearly made the grade. They were _near_ passing. You nearly got into college. That car nearly killed him. He was near death.

Being near something, does not make it that thing.

  • @megadeathx I never said"being near something does not make it that thing".For example, your stellar ability to not comprehend English does not make you English, does it?Neither does your proximity to England, right? Understanding is relative a certain level of aptitude. You nearly burned me with your comment, but,i have proven that you have nearly evolved into something that is not a monkey, for example.Another WIN for science and another win for woman, man, chimpanzees, gorillas, you&orangutans!

  • @maptlbh WOW!!! Thumbs up on that one !!!

  • @AdamTheHunt lol, "Near Miss" is known term in prevention of accidents in future situations...

  • @AdamTheHunt Can you translate something for me? :)

  • @AdamTheHunt No. It was a miss that was near him. smart ass...

  • @AdamTheHunt it means, it was a miss, but it was also a close miss. not just a miss.

  • oh man this kind of situation are normal on Moscow's road...)

  • I hate people from the UK who think all Americans are fat and stupid... that is false, but everyone knows that everybody from the UK has bad teeth. That is a fact...

  • @jngend statistically as a whole Americans fair worse in the teeth department. We get free dental care. I don't think all Americans are fat and stupid. My American girlfriend certainly isn't fat....

  • @svengalie just people in the america i live but just some people here just don't watch what they eat =/ they just eat anything that seems to taste good but i don't think we are all fat just some are

  • @svengalie half the people in america i see are fat. 80 percent of brits i see have crooked teeth.

  • @GodsNotReal95 another thing they should really fell bad no one can kick fat americans is in any war lol

  • @jngend ill have you know i have perfect teeth thanks :D. and americans are fat look what they stuff down there faces with super size everything lol

  • @jngend You are absolutely right. Not all Americans are fat!

  • @Cab0cl0 Yes, but we're working on it. Give us another 5 years.

  • @jngend lol....u're a funny bloke!

  • @jngend i hate British people too and i agree with you 100% on their teeth, fat boy!

  • safe riding out there man =/ a guy almost got hit because of the same thing... with your gears do you not feel cold from riding at all? comfy? i have some gear for the winter but i'm still freezing my balls off

  • I hate it when people do things like that while I'm riding...

  • Well here's a better Idea, don't change lanes into someones blind stop. Bikers bitch that cars almost run them over yet you see them hanging out in blind stops. One and one more thing, stop acting all hard and deal with the fact that you almost got you ass run over in the rain on your scooter. You changed lanes while the car was already getting ready to move over, pay attention to the video you were in the wrong.

  • @WeThePeople2020 When he changed lanes the car was still beside the car in the middle lane. Traffic slowed him down in the right lane and as soon as he thought he was clear he tried to change lanes without paying attention just like most of the idiots on the road do.

  • This happens often that people don't look over their shoulder and just change lanes.

But to be fair everybody once a while forgets to look.

  • can we all just get along

  • @DJvincedavinci It would be prefered, but it also depends on the situation.

  • That was an honest mistake. You both wanted to enter that lane, both checked your mirror and changed lanes. The car was just a bit slower than you. They corrected and gave way once they saw you in the lane.

  • Bloody Ford drivers. I hate them nearly as much as I hate Honda car drivers.

  • @1100HondaCB Wow, what an ignorant statement...

  • @TimmyLambchop I drive for a living and it's drivers of these cars I've had many problems with.

  • @1100HondaCB Doesn't mean what I said isn't true.

  • @TimmyLambchop I say it how it is and if you don't like it, then tough.

  • @1100HondaCB With that logic, if I saw a driver of a honda do something stupid then all honda drivers are stupid. If I saw a black man driving like a moron, then all black men drive like morons. The list goes on, shut the fuck up.

  • @TimmyLambchop NO. You shut the fuck up.

  • @1100HondaCB Prejudiced piece of shit...

  • @TimmyLambchop You don't know what you're talking about. Are you a cyclist? For the record, I hate them too. Cycling piece of shit.

  • @1100HondaCB REALLY? I don't know what I'm talking about? No, I'm not a cyclist. You're fucking dumb.

  • @TimmyLambchop What nationality are you? And how can I be fucking dumb, as you so arrogantly put it?

  • @1100HondaCB My nationality is irrelevenat. As far as you being dumb, if you really need to ask then there's no point in me wasting my breath explaining it to you.

  • @TimmyLambchop Look, I tell you what nob head, I'm getting rather bored with your stupid comments. I hazard a guess you're American.

  • @1100HondaCB You enjoy passing judgements don't you...You're dumb.

  • @TimmyLambchop I guess you like taking it up the arse. I'm sure you're American. If so, you're a right nob head fudge boy.

  • @1100HondaCB You're dumb.

  • @TimmyLambchop Well you can only manage to keep calling me dumb, so there really isn't much hope for you as a human being!

  • @1100HondaCB ....you're dumb....

  • @TimmyLambchop I guess that's just about your ability to keep calling me dumb. You're an American which is nothing to be proud of.

  • @1100HondaCB you know not all Americans are fat fast food eating slobs..... most of em, but not all

  • @xIUBUNTUIx You got that right.

  • @1100HondaCB I hate idiots like you.

  • @effinurmother Well I hate Americans for one and especially people that don't pay attention when driving, therefore putting others at risk. The driver of the Ford should have checked his blind spot before moving into the left lane. I guess you wouldn't have the intelligence to realise the benefits of doing so. I can see you're American with a pathetic user name like that. Typical crude American terminology.

  • @1100HondaCB Aww.. Are you going to cry? Want a hug? :)

  • @1100HondaCB I see you're still being dumb!

  • @TimmyLambchop I tell you what, when you eventually reach puberty, you might actually start being a bit mature. I have no time for American idiots like you.

  • @effinurmother Can't argue with an idiot, that's why I just keep calling him dumb. (he still doesn't get it)

  • @TimmyLambchop You're right. I don't get it because I'm obviously not dumb. You're pretty messed up if you only have the time to keep calling me that.

  • @1100HondaCB Lmfao! There you go passing judgements again. You think I'm a prepubescent kid simply because I keep repeating myself? Too funny! I'm messed up for only having the time to what? You're not making any sense. I would come back here, see what kind of dumb shit you posted and then say you're dumb. Why? Because you are. Simple as that. Lol kid, by saying the same thing over and over it actually saves me time. Why bother trying to convey something to you that clearly you can't comprehend.

  • @TimmyLambchop You are an American. I'd rather be dumb than what you are.

  • @1100HondaCB For the record, and probably because you aren't smart enough to notice it, that license plate on the Ford is not American...

  • @MrBadbiker93 Yet another pointlesss comment from yet another immature American. For starters, the vehicles are driving on the left, which is a clear indicator that this in not in America and the registration begins in ET, which is a Chelmsford registration, so therefore is a UK one, but I doubt you knew that much. For the record, Chelmsford is in Essex which is in England. You clearly jumped to conclusions as I never said anything about anything in the video being American.

  • @1100HondaCB Wow, know what the internet is huh? Looking up license plate information? Obviously you have some extreme prejudices towards the United States, how about pulling the stick out of your butt because you're mad that they're better than your country? And for the record, I am from Australia, so blow it out your ass.

  • @MrBadbiker93 Well, according to your profile, you are from the US. I guess you are a descendant from criminality as Australia was a dumping ground for crooks during the industrial revolution. For the record, most nations hate the Yanks. Anyway, I know much information about license plates (we call them registrations or number plates in the UK). I am from England, so you go and take it up the arse, as I'm sure you do anyway.

  • that's not a near miss, a crash is a near miss!!! that's a near hit!

  • That was a near hit, as in you nearly hit him. If it was a near miss, it would be a hit because you would have nearly avoided him, but not quite avoided him.

    Oh, George Carlin...

  • He did what he had to do!! that was the safest procedure especial on 2 wheels and weight of about 700lb to 1400lbs and no windshields or windows so all you fast furios people on bike GOD BLESS

  • People just don't know how to use mirrors or check blind spots any more. They're too concerned with chatting on the phone, stuffing their fat faces, texting, shaving, etc.

  • This is why the Highway Code warns against undertaking people (or passing them on the left, if you prefere the boring term).

  • happens to me all the time even in my car, or truck... doesn't matter what you drive or ride, people on the road are idiots, you gotta watch out for them

  • That's why I always try to avoid bikers by run over them...

  • lols u should seem them fail to see us big trucks, its not just bikes

  • Biker was totally in the right. And it is quite legal to undertake if you are at or under the speed limit. If a motorist was doing 90kph in a 120 kph overtaking lane does that mean the rest of us have to drive at or below that speed? What about traffic jambs at walking pace. Should bus lane vehicles like taxis must they drive same speed as cars?

  • It's all very well saying that the car driver had time to see you. As a biker that's never an assumption you can make. You did a life saver - which was good. Then you proceeded to undertake the car while its indicator was on. That's an observation failure.

  • But your wrong, he didn't *undertake* he was already in the middle lane when the black mondeo started to switch lanes, and fair play to him for signaling but he was still in the wrong, should have checked his left side mirror. *MSM* Mirror Signal MANEUVER...

  • Luckily you were paying attention

  • You ARE undertaking, no use bringing up the highway code because it still proves that you're wrong!! It is not congested conditions so stop trying to make out that you are in the right cause you seriously are not...

  • @00dmmb00

I didnt see any under taking happen in this video, he was in the lane when the mondeo was beginning to pull in, that driver was obviously unaware of him in the mirror!

  • Good job avoiding the idiot driver (well sort of) but i will say at the start in the left hand lane ur way 2 close 2 car in front. 4 secs gap when wet 2 when dry, keep that distance its saved me several times during emergency stops

  • Did u break that car's tail light atleast when it stopped? sukker punch? bitch slap? something? :P

  • @bprred4 Why is it always the Americans who write the most aggressive comments?

  • He was in her blind spot..

  • @ian27293 Blind spot? Are you fucking kidding me? The idiot just swerved into the lane without proper protocol.

  • This isn't a "near miss". It's a "near hit".

  • @pacemasterpro A collision is a near miss.

  • @Ariana321 Exactly. You've entitled this video, where there is no collision, a near miss. In actuality, it is a "near hit". You were nearly hit.

  • This is the near miss that you will soon learn to hate as a rider, b/c it happens almost once a week, even when you're careful. Either someone doesn't check their mirror, or look out their window or whatever, and they just start changing lanes into you. Rush hour traffic is the worst, b/c frustrated idiots think the world should let them plow out from behind slow drivers with complete disregard as to who's in the lane they're charging into.

  • he wasn't cutting you off, he just didn't see you.

  • by the luck with a bike you can avoid it.........

  • Both at fault in my opinion, the car was signalling, if it was me I'd have anticipated him doing that and left him a bit of space.

  • the car driver is stupid THINK BIKE!!!

  • I like the part when he shakes his head.

  • it should be illegal to be undertaken

  • Eat that,GO SVEN

  • actually if u read the highway code it states that the only time you can undertake is if the vehicles in the next lane are slower than you meaning that because everybody tries to hog the fast lane then have to put their brakes on because of congestion you can carry on regardless at the same speed the driver of the car should av checked his mirror again before he moved out no good checking 20 seconds before the manouvre

  • reduced visibility ,some fucking idiot biker dressed all in dark colours but its the fault of the car ?? why not at least turn you headlight on and wear some reflective clothing you fucking knob

  • Comment removed

  • not really anyone's fault. however more so the car's fault then the bike, the bike moved in first thus the car should have checked his blind spot again before moving. simple rule of give way to whoever is there first.

  • So going by the comments by the illegal undertaking brigade, if someone in the fast lane brakes and slows down everyone to the left has to slam on their brakes and go slower than him. This is why i love driving on british roads. full of dickheads

  • @SharkTheBruce but but but....I'm undertaking though? hurr durr

  • undertaking is illegal. but this biker clearly had his chance to get from lane 1 to lane 2 before the man in lane 3 started signalling. the car on lane 3 started to only signal and maneuver in into lane 2 afterwards - meaning he didnt get a chance to see the biker and resulted in almost hitting the biker. the man in lane 3 should have checked his blindspot not only his mirrors. if the man in lane 3 started signalling before the biker actually switched lanes, the biker is at fault.

  • quite clearly sven wasnt undertaking, the car in the third lane was breaking hard, which he shouldnt have done, also he should have looked in his mirrors/blindspots before switching lanes, im 16 and know rules of the road more than some people here, get a grip people, if you actually knew how to maneuver properly, there would be ALOT less accidents on the roads. COMMON SENCE!

  • You tried to undertake him. That's as simple as it gets, he did his observations but he shouldn't have to for people like you. When entering the third lane you should pull back to allow room for a gap between you and the car infront. You should also be able to anticipate he might pull over into your lane to be ready to pull back. Idiot.

  • near miss? as if, the car seen you and reacted to the situation with ease.

you also seen what he was doing and kept over to the left, i have had b-double trucks come into my lane that close that i could give the driver a high 5

  • in all honestly and i am a bike rider myself you were in his blindspot and never backed off so he could spot you beside him in his mirrors it ticks me off if cars cut me off but yo0u have to also see their side

  • your a motorcycle driver. u must pay attention! its your fault! u should have seen his brakes and blinker indicating he was turning. if a skilled driver say that he wouldnt have pulled up next to him, instead slow down

  • never trust on your luck, better trust your glock!

  • yeaa i think people in cars need to pay more attention to bikers so s#!t like this doesnt happen!

  • Undertaking . . . . all bikers do it and wonder why one day they are spinning on their backs with gravel up their arse or worse . . idiot

  • @wideangle852 going from lane 1 to lane 2 to OVERTAKE. Learn2internet.

  • @svengalie . . where did you learn to drive?? . . the biker (you) is going up on the inside of the car in lane 3 . . . typical

  • @wideangle852 what am I supposed to do? FLY? In order to get from lane one to lane three I *have* to enter lane 2.

  • @svengalie . . yes but not by undertaking . . you're just asking for a gravel arse . . .

  • @svengalie the car clearly slowed down alot to come into lane 2, technically you weren't undertaking if the car in the lane to the right of you slows down immediately, you wouldn't expect someone in lane 2 to slam on the brakes just because the person in lane 3 had slowed right down. also this is no excuse not to check your blind spot.

  • @svengalie yes, but you were under taking the driver in lane 3 there fore they don't, and shouldn't expect when pulling in that anyone is there

  • @maximusplatipus94 Yes but your taught to check your mirrors before changing lanes anyway. There isnt an excuse for ignorance even if someone is doing something wrong. Which he wasnt as the ford was braking and swerved without indicating properly. I think he may have even had the intention to speed up the middle lane and undertake the congested right lane. I see it all the time done by cars, bikes, vans all of them really.

  • @wideangle852 he was driving right way that arse in the car almost hit him because he wasn't looking the biker (svengalie) did nothing wrong

  • @thearcticiguana . . another person who has not read the highwway code . . undertaking is a no no in the UK . .unless the lane besdie you is stationery or very slow . . this is neither . .

  • @wideangle852 u can overtake in the uk on single and double or triple road i have read the book and if u in the land near the hardshoulder and someone slow and if the next lane was free he move over to it to pass and then the car on third land did not look like most drivers do in car that why most biker get hit. that car was not allowed to move over. not if the biker slow down to let pass or wait for the biker to move first.GODSAKE

  • @thearcticiguana . . . yes you can overtake but you can NOT undertake . . . i.e. go on the inside of a car in a lane further right than you . . we drive on the left in the UK . . . all other lanes other than the left inside lane are designated as overtaking lanes . .you must be in one lane to the right to overtake legally any vehicle on the left . .

  • @thearcticiguana . . you clearly have NOT read the UK highway code . . and are clearly wrong . . read all the other entries you idiot

  • @wideangle852 u thick twat i have read the book and u can go to the people who made the god dam thing and as them undertaking is illegel i know but he was not. if u can't see that then shut up i have my point u have ur point which in the vid is not undertaking so u are wrong godsake learn the road before say anything idiot

  • @thearcticiguana . . .of course you haven't read the Highway code, that's obvious you idiot, because you are still saying that is not undertaking and it clearly IS . . read other peoples statements . . oh, and by the way, learn to type as well as learn to drive . . it's cunts like you that deserve to be spinning on their back and give every other biker a bad name, if you believe the crap you have come out with, or perhaps you're not old enough to even drive more likely . . fucking moron

  • @i don't give an fuck what other people say they are wrong anyway and this is how i type old fuck i still young but i know how to drive i ride an bike dum arse and i know what is overtaking is and undertaking is and that was not get off the fucking internet u old mother fucking arse who can't drive and work and his brain two see that it is not undertaking. and i have read the book more then u.

u mostly read the 90s highway u fucking dum arse

  • @wideangle852 Are you blind? You see that when he moves over to pass the slow traffic in the left lane the Ford in the right lane has his brake lights on and is slowing, he then moves without indicating until he is half way over and hasnt looked. On balance even if the biker was undertaking the greater of 2 evils was with the car. But typical car driver, do something dangerous like that and blame the biker... Idiot :)

  • @TheAvengingFate . .are YOU blind? Obviously you are . . the biker is clearly in the wrong . . bikers cannot see undertaking as an offence because they do this all the time and think this is normal driving . . if it was a car doing this there would have been a collision. Who's fault would it have been?? Fucking Moron

  • @wideangle852 Would have been the driver who didnt look in any case. Its strict liability in insurance, because he didnt look, moved over without correct indication he would have been the direct cause of the accident. The riders actions could have contributed but all he essentially did was get into the wrong place at the wrong time through a debatable move as he was overtaking and began undertaking as a result of the fords braking. Your language shows your brainless and just anti-biker. Have fun

  • @TheAvengingFate . . undertaking is illegal in UK . . period . . the driver undertaking will ALWAYS be at fault . . . no excuses . . it is up to you to avoid such accidents by not putting yourself in a situation that contributes to an accident . . undertaking is clearly one of these times . . your brainless reply means that you are just ignorant of the law . .or just plain ignorant

  • @wideangle852 I handle insurance cases. You can undertake in congestion when your lane moves quicker and when you pass a lane hogger doing less than speed limit, the latter not being in law but officers treat it as common sense. In the vid he overtook correctly but a ford in the fast lane slows suddenly and moved across with incorrect indication. The car was at fault. Im only harsh with you Im seeing an anti-biker attitude and theres no need for it.

  • @wideangle852 The Highway Code discourages undertaking on motorways with some exceptions (rule 268): "Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake". Undertaking is permitted in congested conditions when frequent lane changing is not recommended.

Show me the law that says undertaking is illegal......And you call TheAvengingFate "ignorant of the law"? Irony sucks for you, sir.

  • @svengalie . . . I just qouted the Highway Code so its the law . .duhh!! . . can't you read?? Rule 268 . .thats RULE . . so means LAW . . . do it front of a police car mate on a normal and see what happens . . you really are fucking brainless

  • @wideangle852 highway code isn't statue, no matter how many times you say it.

  • @svengalie . . are you English?? because it bloody well is statute . . . everyone has to learn it for their driving test and is tested on it as part of that test . . try telling a policeman that the 70mph speed limit is not law . . I give up . .

  • @wideangle852 Certain rules in the Highway Code represent various road traffic laws and must be obeyed. Others are not compulsory, but advisable. Jesus christ google it before you assert your "facts". Apology accepted.

  • Comment removed

  • To be fair Sven, you undertook him mate. Which is ILLEGAL.

When I do it, I make sure I slow right down before I do it, then give it the beans and I'm past the vehicle in around a second. If you just trundle along doing it at a pace like that then you're more likely to get hit, man I'm 22 and I know this, I've only had a big boy bike since March!

  • @b9y No I didn't. It's raining, all three lanes are slowly moving at varying speeds. What would you have everyone do, all get in the outside lane? No of course not, provisions are made for this scenario. Undertaking isn't illegal regardless of this fact, it is mentioned in the highway code but the highway code ISN'T statute.

Perhaps when you're older you might be wiser, eh?

  • @svengalie Fair play, I'll admit i was wrong so I apologise, but i'd rather not undertake and take my chances either way. Because most drivers will tell you that it's illegal to do so. Even if they're wrong I still think you should of taken it slower like.

  • @svengalie Undertaking is not illegal in the UK, Signalling is not a legal requirement. But some things you do and some you don't, because it makes driving safer and easier for everyone. Regardless of where the fault lies here, you would be the fatality if you two had collided. Also, put yourself in lane 3.. Mirror (clear), Signal (Look left to ensure car in lane one is not moving over), Maneuver... Ive been in your place before (many times), it annoys me, but deep down I know I'm in the wrong.

  • ha ha. Near miss. I'm a bike courier and that sort of thing happens everyday. The driver could have checked a bit more to see if it was clear to move back into the middle lane but the bike was trying to undertake the ouside lane and should have anticipated that could have happened. But I wouldn't say it was a very near miss unless the biker was totally not paying attention.

  • @philspank1 riding everyday one might think you'd see the bigger picture outside these 28 seconds. It's pissing it down with rain, it has been for the duration of the journey from Brighton to Edinburgh.

All three lanes of the motorway are moving at varying speeds, what would you have us do? ALL join the outside lane? No of course not, the law makes exception for this scenario and allows "undertaking". Not that such a thing exists in law of course. Tired, wet, and can't see I'm not perfect.

  • @svengalie Of course Undertaking exists! And it's illegal!

  • @deathhaunts8 incorrect. There is no law against undertaking. The highway code makes mention of it, but the only thing the police /could/ charge you with is dangerous driving.
