Did you use any recordings while working on this piece?

I listened to one recording before I learned it. I prefer not to use recordings when learning pieces. It's been a few years since I was first learning this so when I go back and listen to someone else's recording I find it much different. If you want to get a sense of the piece, I would recommend Chris Gekker and the composer playing on the CD "Music for the Soloists of the American Brass Quintet and Friends by Eric Ewazen". Oh wow! I really wanna hear his sonata now, should be incredible. I wanna post some of my stuff up too, the only problem is my dad deleted my recital video by accident... you can imagine I was in flames. But the even worse part is Ms. Kambui didnt have the recital either.... even more flair's, considering that I saw her video taping...
