I actually like the theme to Melee better than I do Brawl. It's just a bit more epic, I think. Less chorus-line, more trombones and an orchestra playing a piece that varies for each character, instead of just a singular one.

the only reason i like melees better is the video, i like the music on both just as much... but the opeining footage wuz better in melee cuz the opening scenes were not bits and pieces, cut and pasted "from the actual gameplay or game cutscenes" well not all of it.... it was an actuall intro if u know what im mean by that.... brawl wuz pretty much all cutscenes and gameplay in a random presentation format...

Do you think those extensive CG cut scenes were easy to make?

I'm no CG designer, but I'm pretty sure that a gamecube quality intro lasting less than 2 minutes is easier to make than cutscenes lasting about a half an hour combining the Nintendo world.

@pikachuthemaster Melee already was a GameCube game. The Wii was designed to allow players to play GameCube games on it (in addition to playing SSBB and Mario Kart Wii with a GameCube controller). I have Super Smash Bros. Melee, plus my newest game is Super Mario Sunshine, a game released in 2002 for the GameCube.
