i got a 96 taurus and my car just wouldnt slide so i took it to a dirt lot hella better hahaha and when i do it on the road i feel like imma tip over xD

Yeah Ford Taurus's slide really well. And yeah most of them, I know my 06 doesn't have it, traction control. They steer and hold up real well, but you can make them slide real easily

i spread oil or tranny fluid on the bottom makes it more slick and makes them last longer

no, apparently you dont know what we were talking about, a '92 Ford CROWN VICTORIA. It was free because we had our first baby on the way and we needed a family car. We lucked into a Ford CROWN VICTORIA for free. A family member helped us out. It wasnt because the car was a piece of shit.

if you get plastic trays or some old plastic wheel trims (wheel covers) they work the same (a bit of vegetable oil on the plastic makes more smoke and the plastic will last longer )

iqutmyseen, fords dont suck. no its not a bmw or mercedes but the biggest problem i've had with my taurus is the alternator and i drive it hard. 110k hard miles, do that with a hyundai or kia

I got my first Taurus in 1988. I still got it with 266k miles. Though she shows her age, she runs like she is new. My newer Taurus is a 2002 SES Deluxe, and I'v never had any problems with her. They are tough cars, testimate to Ford's quality in a well proven mid-size seadan.
